“We had a wonderful stay at Brooklands for the night. Our host offered us information on arrival and parking and the option to book in for breakfast. The room was very comfortable and spacious with great views. There was a good shower and plenty of towels.”

“The hotel is ideally situated - while not being in an immediately picturesque location, its proximity to the M6, A66 and Penrith North Lakes railway station make it the perfect base for exploring the beauty of the Lake District in one direction and Yorkshire in the other. The staff are excellent, particularly in the FYR restaurant: friendly, helpful and attentive. The food is equally impressive and the hotel itself is clean, comfortable and a pleasure to stay in. ”

“We had to leave very early the next morning to take part in the Macmillan Mighty Hike and the staff accommodated us, giving us instructions on how we could check ourselves out, thank you! My only complaint would be the showerhead in our room was very grimy and should be replaced, otherwise the room was excellent!”
