"I was thrilled to find this charming historic spot on Oquaga Lake in upstate NY! It's exactly what I was looking for--peaceful, calm, quiet. The Inn had a canoe and kayaks, some music on the deck with drinks, and excellent dinners with kind and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and the bathroom roomy and spa-like. I am so glad this spot is still available and look forward to a longer stay next time."

"Great place to stay if you are in the area . Everything about our stay was great . Rooms had all amenities you can think of they even had paper towels ,toothbrushes, robes. Rooms were very modern and up to date ."

"Super enjoyable place for large families. We have a family retreat almost yearly. Our family is large and we have rented from Myrtle Beach to Moosehead lake, and truly i think this is our favorite spot. Its elevation allows a beautiful constant breeze, big country valley viewing, and great star skapes. Bonus, no ticks nor mosquitos. House has everything, big open layout. Plenty of sleeping areas, 2 large kitchens. Large open floor plan. Kids loved the pool table. Private pond offered great swimming and fishing. Large open outdoor areas are great for family functions. Place is remote with plenty of privacy. We are all looking forward to coming again. Thanks to hostess Scott and Ann, our stay was great!"

"Host was fast with replies and cabin clean. We absolutely loved the area and the best part was the walking distance to the river. My husband and I take our dogs on a yearly camping trip and this place was by far the best. Private area, quiet, and nearby activities. Our dogs loved the place overall and we are discussing going back next year.Very active wild life, not surprised, but be on alert if you have dogs. We saw a black bear twice less than 50 yards away and some deer."
