“This was such a great find. The rooms are immaculate. They’re not fancy by any means, but you can tell they take pride in cleanliness and presentation. The front desk staff were great, and they had a nice continental breakfast. I really liked the fact that we could park at the beach and have our own private section of the beach as well by staying there. I didn’t get to use the pool, but it had a nice area and upper deck to go with it. Would absolutely recommend!”

“Such a hidden gem! Loved the view and peacefulness of the property. The unit was decorated and stocked perfectly. Very spacious. My son loved seeing the train behind the property go by. Enjoyed our stay with our two young children and will return next year. ”

“Arranged beautifully. Soooo very clean everywhere!!! Balcony was a great. Saw sunrise and view of the beauty of the golf course. In the afternoon, the balcony was lovely and cool. “It was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. ”

“It borders the salt pond which is beautiful and tranquil. There are free kayaks to use on it. There is a nice outdoor shower. Rooms are small but worth it for the location. I went with my son and we were comfortable. but More than 2 in a room might be cramped unless you really like each other. There were thoughtful hooks and shelves to help store things to make the most of the space. I only used the outdoor shower with attached changing area to reduce congestion in the room. location is……

“Went for our anniversary and loved it. Excellent service, beautiful restaurant with excellent food and views. Loved the shuttle service to downtown (although was an easy walk had the weather been nicer!) Will definitely return! ”

“Location was great for really great access to this quaint town. Roll out of bed and cross the bascule bridge (or watch it open- fun for kids)!, tons of great restaurants within 2-3 minute walk. All of the water happenings are visible from the hotel. Breakfast at Sift, a 5 minute walk "must" for great breakfast/ unbelievable croissants! Seaport close by 5 min car ride. Nice high quality rocking chairs on porches. Great restaurant on facility. Down to earth not pretentious. Just a great spot……
