“This is a unique property which needs some TLC. With all the surrounding competition they need to be on top of their game. We stayed 4 nights without having the room cleaned once.”

“One word- cockroach. I went to bed around 11:00PM, and I looked up at the ceiling to a bug I had never seen before. I texted my daughter a pic and asked her what it was. It was a cockroach. She said VA was known to have a problem with them. I stood on the bed and banged a book against it, and it fell. I took another picture, to make sure I had identified it. I only stayed one night, and hardly slept at all. I found out that the contact info that the owner shared with me was only texting, when I……

“Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast and friendly staff. The only thing is that if you leave something on your bed, the housekeeper is not allowed by the local law to touch it.”

“The property itself is quite good—newly renovated facilities, a convenient location, and a nice free breakfast. It’s easy to see why it has a 9.0 rating and overall, it’s worth it. However, I was assigned a room right next to the ice machine and emergency exit. I checked in late at night and didn’t realize the potential for noise. Unfortunately, the receptionist didn’t mention anything about it, even though I was traveling with kids. Starting as early as 6 a.m., guests began walking around for……

“Great location. Easy check-in.”

“With a daughter attending William & Mary, we have a lot of opportunity to travel to Williamsburg, so for our last visit we decided to stay at the Rochambeau, having heard very good things about this retro-styled motel. We were glad that we did! The property is immaculate, in fact I don't remember every including the phrase "immaculate parking lot" in a review. Ever. But that's the case here. From the driveway to the parking lot to the grounds, everything was, well, "immaculate." That certainly……

“Clean, quiet, very large and comfortable space.”

“Nice service and nice breakfast. ”

“They are doing construction here and they have not announced it, either online or when you check in. The first two days it started at 9am on the dot and the second day was still going at 6:30pm when I left to ogo to a meeting. When I complained to the staff that I was paying over $200 a night and couldn’t even work in my room during the day (it was too loud to have a Zoom meeting), the person behind the front desk said they didn’t have to announce it if the construction was during “business……

“Change of ownership has made for positive changes. Beds and linens were really nice and it was cleaner than past trips. Location is ideal if you want to walk to the college.”

“Overall great experience”
