"Itvstarted with a 24 hour notice due to our original house being flooded for the storm. They fot us in a day later to this smaller yet spacious lakehouse with many little surprises! We enjoyed the large master suite with the clawfoot tub. The outside sauna was a blessing and the wood stove! The the renovations were lovely. We were comfortable and relaxed for pur elipse little get away! Thank.ypu SO MUCH for having us in such short notice and sharing this lovely little cabin!"

"This home is fully furnished and lacks nothing. The beds are comfortable, linens and towels clean and not worn/frayed/stained. Kitchenware was in newer condition. The lake is a beautiful setting. Although it is in a wooded area, the property is sprayed early in season and was not an issue. GPS took us right to address. Amy was a terrific host. "This really is a beautiful setting - it is very private and quiet. The front porch is where we spent the most time in the evenings, hearing the loons call was priceless! "This place is great, it has all of the comforts of home. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. The camp was very clean and I'm a bit OCD, so this place really made our stay so nice. We had a fire, cooked out, had family visit, watched movies. We brought our pets, Tessa and Petals, not much we could ask for. "Family of 4 stayed at this property july 4th week. The lake is BEAUTIFUL and quiet!!!!! Bit of a loud party house next door but it was the week of the fourth… House is perfect for a quiet retreat. The stairs are a little scary (narrow/steep) but after time they seem normal. Love it and look forward to coming back!"

"The view was amazing. The cabin tho was nothing like expected. It's currently being renovated, but the walls are nothing but installation, the flooring isn't finished at all. There is electricity and tv, but no water and the bathroom is not finished but there is a port a potty outside that is completely disgusting. Overall the view is great but the place definitely needs a lot. "

We had some unfortunate timing, with the lake experiencing a persistent algae bloom that made the water inaccessible to swimming or water sports, but we made the best of it - exploring other area lakes and ponds for swimming (in particular, McGrath Pond had a hidden gem of a local swimming spot!), I would highly recommend this...
