So Pretty - Loved the Birds!
This property is a great place to stay to visit the Hill Country! It was cute and the large windows were wonderful to look out on the property and great view to wake up to. The bird theme was fun! And we enjoyed watching all the birds in the feeders all around from our deck. It was a nice visit!

Perfect in every way
My teen and I needed a place to be "home base" for college visits in central Texas and this was PERFECT! From the location in the country (but still close enough to town), to the property (gorgeous), to the choice of furniture placement - everything was just what we needed. Some vacation homes either have furnishings that are so precious you're afraid you might break something, but Patrick and Suzanna have found the exact right balance of well-appointed and comfortable. Each piece is thoughtfully arranged to take advantage of the fantastic views. 12 out of 10 and we will definitely come back!

Wonderful birthday getaway
Beautiful location, convenient to Wimberley but out enough to escape. Fantastic sunrise and sunset views, and loads of privacy. Suzanna and Patrick were immediately responsive when we had our one issue with the lock. Other than that, we did not see them. All amenities we needed for a relaxing weekend away to celebrate my birthday. Took advantage of several listed restaurant recommendations but opted for dinner takeout so we could take advantage of the scenic surroundings with our glass of wine and serenity--even enjoyed some darts! Thanks for a great stay--we will be back!

The property was beautiful exquisite and peaceful. Our family had everything we needed and couldn't have asked for better hosts! They went alive and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and had no questions unanswered and even played a bit with our daughter! If you love a peaceful and beautiful landscape this is the escape for you! We most definitely would recommend to others and already have shared the information with 2 families about to go on vacation!! When we go on vacation again we would defiantly love to return!! Perfect spot for a weekend getaway
Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The property was just as described. I was super impressed with the little details. Suzanna and Patrick really thought of everything- the perfect example is the wifi password. It was placed in no fewer than 3 places in the rental - anywhere you might think about wanting to connect, if you looked up, there was the password. The property itself is gorgeous! Great views, and so many birds! I loved watching the hummingbirds. Don’t let the fact that this rental is the lower floor of the hosts’ home deter you; while easily reachable if needed, you won’t even know they’re right upstairs. We will definitely rent again!

Very nice visit
We stayed 2 nights. The apartment has lots of large windows overlooking the beautiful property. We enjoyed having wine on the porch watching the deer at the feeder. We even saw a fox run across the yard while there. Easy access to Wimberley and Dripping Springs as well as the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center (well worth a visit). The apartment is large, very clean and well appointed. You will enjoy it too.

Breath Taking Views, Clean Air, Beautiful Accomodations and more.....
First of all, we could live here! It has everyhting you would need. Good internet connection, all the amenities, very soft towels and sheets, and anything else you could want for a nice stay. Wimberley is very close but you wouldn't know it. The Sunrises and Sunsets are just gorgeous. We saw deer and plenty of varieties of birds form the various bird feeders. Wife and I would walk around and sit in the many places where there were chairs to enjoy the views near and far. The pictures do not do it justice! We stayed 3 nights. The accomodations have windows everywhere. I can't say enough of how beautiful the surrounding area(s) and our VRBO was. They had DirectTV which we only watched for a couple of hours total. Beyond that, we just played games (that we brought) and took in the natural beauty. Also, Wimberley water is so soft, you will love it! I could go on and on but I think you will get the hint! ***** 5 Stars all the way! ***** Thank you again to the owners offering this place and its beauty to be shared. The Perfect Wimberley Retreat
All of the positive reviews are no fluke! Suzanna and Patrick have a truly wonderful home on some beautiful property, and they are kind enough to rent out a private area at a more than reasonable price (to say that the stay is worth the cost is an understatement)! I am a grad student working on a poetry manuscript for my thesis, and my goal was to get away to do some writing. Well, mission accomplished. The Treehouse Retreat is conducive to all sorts of out of the ordinary experiences, especially if you're used to a city environment. I saw plenty of deer and enjoyed listening to the birds sing alongside the sound of running water from the beautiful fountain. One of my favorite moments was when a fox came by---so cool to see! All of the views are spectacular, and there are plenty of spots around the few acres to sit and relax. The various vantage points with benches and chairs are thoughtfully placed. It's particularly nice to see the colors on the horizon change during sunrise and sunset. Inside, the aesthetic is wonderful, with no detail left unattended. The bed is extremely comfortable, as is the sofa in the living room. There are plenty of superb restaurants and other attractions close by. At the Treehouse Retreat, you're detached from the hustle and bustle without sacrificing the convenience of food, shopping, etc. I could go on and on about my special experience, but for those seeking a place to stay in Wimberley (or anywhere in the Texas hillcountry), look no further---just see for yourself!

This place is exactly what my wife and I were looking for. It's quiet, peaceful, nature all over the place. Nearby is Jacob's well and a small HEB. Also plenty of wine tasting, shopping and dining places. The owners are doing a great job keeping the place clean and safe. We will definately be back.

Tranquility and Serenity
There must have been a lot of thought put into making this property perfect for guests. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout- bed, couch, kitchen, porch, and several benches facing the amazing views of hill country, soap/shampoo available in the bathroom, a grill to use… I could go on and on. Also noteworthy were the amazingly comfy bed and pillows and super soft bath towels. It was just the perfect place to relax, decompress, and appreciate the beauty of the area. We greatly enjoyed waking up to see the deer eating, and watching the birds at the feeders. It’s very close to Jacob’s Well and a few other swimming holes, plenty of wineries/breweries/distilleries/restaurants, art galleries and shops, hikes, and more. I highly recommend this piece of paradise!

Beautiful getaway
We stayed at the property on our 20th anniversary getaway. The property was well cared for with nice hillside views. Patrick and Suzanne were very accommodating. The area is very peaceful with next to no traffic on the road in front of the property. We have plans on going back with our two kids and staying for a longer period of time in the future. If you are looking for a place to unwind I recommend you stay here.

So busy on the Daily that I didn’t pack meals so I had to go out for that. Otherwise waking up to sunrise and sitting out to watch the sunset with coffee or a glass of wine is truly ideal at the Treehouse retreat. If relaxation is what you’re looking for look no further. Furniture is all comfortable and carefully placed for you to enjoy nature. The place was immaculate (coming from a clean freak). I would definitely stay here again. Hosts were very helpful and only a text away.

Perfect retreat in the Hill Country!
I was looking for a quiet place in the Hill Country for a two-night solo retreat for rest and contemplation, and this was exactly what I needed! Suzanna and Patrick were such gracious and kind hosts--they truly went above and beyond. The location is ideal; it is far enough away from city -life that you can experience the quiet beauty of the Hill Country, but close enough to Wimberley that you have access to the town. I ran down to Jacob's Well, which is only 2 miles away, and enjoyed the lovely seating areas on Suzanna and Patrick's land. Even though it was overcast and rained my final day, it was still beautiful. The house itself was so comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed. I highly recommend their home amidst the Hill Country trees! Thanks, Patrick and Suzanna!

Perfect for what we wanted!
We wanted a relaxing weekend away from the rat race and close to hiking. Loved the porch and swing. Beautiful view. Very clean. Very comfy bed. Windows allowed for a nice view from everywhere in the house. Owners lived upstairs but we never saw or heard them!

Very relaxing
The first thing you'll notice when you walk in is how immaculately clean this house is. We've been to many, many VRBOs and this rental's care and condition was second to none. Next is the wall of windows and the view you have out of them. The Treehouse is advertised as 'views, views, views' and the reality does not disappoint. The front expanse is a beautiful tree lined rolling hill down to the main road. The living room is very comfortable and the bathroom is a nice size. The bedroom is very large and the king bed was quite comfortable. The deck out front is very large and is where we ate our meals. This brings up a couple of odd points. There is really no seating / eating area inside. This is not an issue if you have nice weather and can eat outside (and there are TV trays if you want to eat at the couch) but if neither of these things work for you, make note. Also, the kitchen, while it does have a large stove that you can get a number of pans on, the fridge is half sized and there is only one counter spot, about the size of a large cookie sheet, to do any preparations or set anything down. This was rather problematic when cooking or washing dishes. However, keeping these things in mind, we would definitely come back. Patrick and Suzanna are incredible hosts and were like the Shoemakers Elves. We only saw them when we first showed up and never felt like we were being over-watched. They were very accommodating with my car trailer and super quick when contacting them. In the end, the Treehouse is a beautiful place on a beautiful property with fantastic owners. Just plan accordingly for the teeny kitchen.

Views views and more views! This property is beautifully set up to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Perfectly located just far enough from Wimberley to enjoy the town even though you won’t want to leave the property. Seeing the deer each day was an added bonus!

Relaxing and Quiet stay
Our stay was relaxing an quiet. The views are great and the night sky was dark and crisp. The location is good for quick drives to San Antonio, Fredericksburg , Austin, and Wimberly which is a nice small town with great dining. The rental had everything we needed for a nice stay with a nice small kitchen, plenty of room. The bed was comfortable and the views from the deck with plenty of wildlife to observe was nice for relaxing. Would love to stay again if we are ever in the area
