Welcome to Sunny Brae, our fantastic Lake District, 3-bedroom cottage, set in a lovely quiet road in Windermere town. We are dog friendly and a few minutes walk from the shops, pubs, bars and cafes of Windermere and only 15 minutes from tourist hotspot of Bowness. A perfect house for families or friends, looking for a warm and welcoming place to stay, full of character but with all the amenities you would hope for in the heart of the stunning English Lakes.

A three bedroom property with a fully equipped kitchen, sitting room, dining room, two bathrooms and an additional toilet.  You'll have a welcome pack when you arrive with Border biscuits and tea, coffee and milk, including a few coffee pods for the L'Or Barista Coffee pod machine. 

100% cotton bedding and towels for all bedrooms, with an additional pull out bed or cot available upon request.

We’re in a lovely quiet side street in Windermere, so no ‘party’ groups please!



We're just a few minutes walk from both the shops, cafes and restaurants of Windermere Town and not much further to access the Lake, via Bowness and all the attractions. A fantastic location and base for exploring the Lakes.

Windermere has great transport links with a regular direct train service (5-10min walk) running to and from Manchester airport or to Oxenholme where you can link into the Aviva West Coast mainline. There are also regular buses and tourist, open top buses that stop minutes away from the house that can get you around the Lakes.
