「Perfect place for a one-night stay off the 5! Delightful, clean room, loved the Shakespeare theme, and the staff were very sweet and helpful. Will stay here again and recommend to friends passing through Ashland!」

「Good clean room. Very basic. No amenities but good value for someone traveling alone that just needs a place to sleep. Good location about 8 minutes from downtown.」

「We arrived at the hotel and unloaded all our luggage in our room. I didn't notice right away, but I eventually caught this exposed, bare wiring sticking out from under the light fixture. I had my 4 year old in the room at the time clicking all the light switches on and off. I'm no electrician but I'm pretty sure if this wire was live, my toddler could have been SHOCKED. I brought this up to the front desk along with pictures and they apologized, but told me they were unable to comp or discount...

「We stayed here because it was in downtown Ashland, which was convenient for our planned activities. Our room, while on the top floor and with a nice view, was not as clean as expected. There was popcorn clearly visible on the floor near the sofa from a previous guest; there were visible stains on the carpet; there were coffee(?) stains on the night stand surface; the only glass in the bathroom was smudged and obviously not washed. The coffee maker and the provided "pods" were not compatible so...

「This is a nicely restored vintage motel. The rooms are styled midcentury but with modern appliances and fixtures. They are also clean. I recommend it for anyone looking for a unique travel experience other than the big chain hotels and motels. The location is a little under 1 mile from the Oregon Shakespearian Festival so walkable for some.」
