Love, love, love did not want to leave

GREAT VACATION

Our group had an amazing week, the house was everything we wanted and more. Great base of operations to take day trips and close to town. The sunrise over the mountains is worth the trip alone. Coffee on the porch and watching the sun come over the mountain put you in a great frame of mind for the rest of the day.

Beautiful home, beautiful views

Mary Jane's dream home is a beautiful home at the base of the Mary Jane ski slopes. The view from the front porch is outstanding. I also loved the privacy of the location. The neighborhood is very exclusive and quiet. The drive to and from the home is wooded and has great views of the slopes. All the furnishings are high-end and comfortable. The hot tub was great with the easiest cover I've ever seen. Winter park lodging company made the rental very easy with simple and thorough instructions and great communication. I particularly loved the keyless entree system. I would not hesitate to rent this home again. MANAGER COMMENTS: Fantastic! We are all so pleased you enjoyed your time up at the Mary Jane's Ski Chalet. That Bridger's Cache neighborhood is so great. We do hope you'll come back this way and stay with us.

Family Vacation

Very nice property we had a great time. Minor items that I'm sure after reading this they will be fixed. Ice machines did not work properly so we purchased ice in town. The kitchen pots & pans could be larger for the size of the house to accommodate large families cooking meals. Isolated get away very nice quiet upscale property. It was a great end of summer vacation and I'm sure it is a hot spot for winter vacationers as well. MANAGER COMMENTS: Thanks for keeping us in the know Gerry. We have the fellas working on the ice machine currently and we are checking into updating the cookware in there. The Dream Home does accommodate a few folks in there so would be great to have the cookware to reflect that. We hope to host you up this way again!

Beautiful home!

Beautiful home in a secluded neighborhood. The view from the main deck is breathe taking. Very close to Winter Park. Our group had a wonderful time!

We had an excellent stay

We had an excellent stay at MaryJane's Dream home. The only negative was that there was a glass that was obviously not put away correctly from the cleaning staff and upon arrival, when I opened a cabinet, it fell and hit me in the head. I had quite the headache. Other than that unfortunate event, our stay was lovely. I'd definitely stay there again. House was gorgeous. Neighborhood was peaceful. MANAGER COMMENTS: Yikes! We are so sorry to hear that. That's not a very welcoming way to get into a new place! We are so pleased otherwise the stay was uneventful and you enjoyed staying at Dream Home. We hope to host you again (with a helmet, just in case) for a less intense welcome!

Amazing and convenient!

Unparalleled in most aspects

To keep things short and to the point, I'll start by saying that if you can afford this place and you are going to be skiing/riding at Winter Park with 9+ friends, make the reservation immediately. The house is like no other and the management is even better. For very specific details, here are a few pros/cons: CONS: - nothing nearby so you will spend all your time here after hours. To be fair, the Winter Park village is not terribly interesting after 5PM - you need big cars to get there and around due to the snow - I feel pretentious saying it, but the 4 person hot tub is quite small for the number of people generally wanting to go - again, pretentious, but there is a significant walk to the Mary Jane lift. Not terrible and practically the best skiing experience of my life, but don't expect to ski out of the backyard (you CAN ski/ride right into the house by going down the road when there is snow on it, which is most times) - we had heard there was a lounge in the complex that was only available to the few houses inside the gates. We found out this was not the case as it was only for owners and not renters like us. It would've been fine except the lady that was managing the lounge was extremely rude. We didn't mind not being able to go in, but this lady was a sore part to our trip. A real shame. PROS: - just about everything. The official winter park lodging website has more than enough detail on the house, and it's all perfectly accurate - we had a leak directly over our bed one night in the master bedroom and the lodging company sent someone to get it fixed immediately after we called them - service, service, service - gorgeous and luxurious doesn't even begin to describe it - again, if you can afford it, reserve it now!

Mary Jane's Dream Home Family Ski Trip

We had an awesome time at the home. Check in and check out were outlined well in the instructions. The home had plenty of space for 4 family with 7 kids. We enjoyed the kitchen making 3 meals/day. Been trip planning for 25 years and this house is amazing!

This house was pure bliss from the moment we walked in! Sleeping options were awesome, especially considering we had (11) 40-50 year old men who want their own beds. Ski in/out was so easy, yes there is a short walk, but it was nothing. We had a couple amateur chefs and the kitchen amenities were excellent. Only thing that could have been better was the hot tub, you are only getting two a time without overflow. Management company was fantastic...special thanks to Sebastian! MANAGER COMMENTS: Excellent! So pleased to hear you all enjoyed the property and that the chefs approved! Sebastian is pretty great....we won't deny it! Sorry the hot tub wasn't quite what you had hoped. It is meant to accommodate 4.

It was a dream vacation!

My 70th birthday celebration exceeded my expectations. Ten of us (my wife and I, three daughters/husbands and two grandsons) spent a spectacular week at Mary Jane's Dream Home. There was plenty of room and amenities for the 4 family units, gorgeous views, large, well equipped kitchen/dining area. Other than afternoon activities, we spent the rest of time at this beautiful mountain home. Winter Park Lodging Company was attentive and meticulous about every detail, from the first phone call, to the final follow up. We would all happily stay there again. MANAGER COMMENTS: Fantastic! Perfect Dream Home Getaway

This house is beautiful! While we were there, it snowed some over the weekend, so the views from and around the house became even more stunning. The house was extremely clean and had great amenities. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, so it's great for a relaxing getaway. I'd definitely love to stay here again if I'm ever in the area! MANAGER COMMENTS: Terrific! I just love it when you have that dramatic contrast going on between snowy peaks and bright aspen. Second best time of the year in my eyes (next to darting through the snowy trees on the mountain!). Please do let us know if you'll be back this way. The Dream Home will be waiting!

Great Place, Great Location

Thanks so much for letting us stay at the MJ Dream Home! It was very nice, and the quiet "secret" neighborhood at the base of Mary Jane was a real bonus! The house was very stylishly furnished. The master suite was incredible, especially the shower! The hot tub was a bit small for the size of the house, but still fun. The views were nice. The porch was a great place to sit - we even saw a bear! The architecture was beautiful. The seating and entertainment areas were comfortable and very useful. It's always easier to think of the things that weren't as great, so this small list in no way overshadowed our enjoyment of the property. - Refinish or buy new outdoor seating; some chairs had nails poking out in the seats. - some of the wood needed refinishing on the deck and in certain parts of the home - several people commented on how hard the beds were in the basement and upstairs double/single/single room All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed the place. And LOVED the location. We want to come back for ski season! Thanks! MANAGER'S COMMENTS...What a treat to see a bear! I hope he didn't try to steal your berries. We are working on some new patio furniture and we will be like Goldilocks and try out all the beds. Glad you enjoyed your secret stay and we hope to host you again soon, maybe for a ski vacation.

Beautiful home with amazing views!

Before our arrival, management was in touch to make sure our checkin and stay was smooth. Downloaded the app which gives you all the info you need about the property. The house exceeded my expectations - it was spacious and clean. The views were breathtaking. I would definitely stay here again!

Mary Jane Dream House

The house was beautiful, but also falling apart in some areas. A few things are the toilet in the king room fell apart as my husband was trying to flush it. The lever came completely out & sprayed water everywhere. He is a general contractor, so he was able to fix it. The door to the bathroom on the main level was all the way off the hinges with no way to fix it (as not only my husband, but a couple of the other gentlemen staying with us all are general contractors & they all looked at it with no way to be fixed) so we either had to use the restroom with an open door or go into the master bedroom bathroom. There was a piece above the fridge falling off, and the worst was the leaking gas smell that occurred Friday after we got back from skiing. It took a couple hours of searching & trying to figure out what the smell was & where it was coming from. We almost called 911 as we were thinking it could be natural gas leak. As luck would have it, another gentlemen is a plumber & we finally figured out the leak was from an open valve with no lid in the bunk room downstairs leaking sewer gasses back in. Not sure how dangerous this is, but beyond the smell it did make us a bit nervous. Also, for as big as those houses are, we had friends renting the house next to our, it's disappointing that the hot tub fit only 4, when they sleep from 16-19 people.

Outstanding house

Very nice house it is exactly what the web site described. It is a decent walk to the chair lift but it is walkable. I would strongly recommend staying there
