「Close to Westville shopping, Yale athletic fields/stadiums, events at SCSU, or a short drive or bus ride to downtown, Beaver Hill is a great neighborhood. I rented this property for overflow family in town for a wedding. The house is very clean and nicely appointed. While I would have like to see some cooking equipment (we're a family that likes to cook), I believe the owner has addressed this concern. 「The mid-century studio is even cuter than in the photos! Perfect location with walk to town and the wonderful restaurants there. Perfect for a couple. (I highly recommend the almond croissant at Wilsons.) The place is spotlessly clean and easy/quick communications with our host. The snack basket was perfect and the extra water bottles in the fridge saved us on a hike. We will definitely be back, maybe to paddle the nearby Housatonic. :) 」

「The property inside was lovely. Every detail was thought of to make our stay delightful. Very comfortable beds. The neighborhood is in transition and it is rather noisy (cars driving by constantly) in the evenings. Not a deal breaker. We stayed on two separation occasions. Recommend for the convenience to downtown and Yale. 」

「We were in town visiting our son and DIL and new grandchild. Their apartment is too small for five extra adults so we found this nice home close by. The home has three nice bedrooms in a remodeled home. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The large living room was more than enough for us. The kitchen was clean and had what we needed for our meals. The only negative item was we couldn’t find any dishwashing detergent for the dishwasher. We had to wash by hand. Overall, the best...

「The house is extremely spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped. The setting is breathtaking. The serenity of the location is highly desirable. It took several days for us to appreciate the size of the property. One drawback is the uneven stone steps without railings to get into the house. But we are in our 80s, so this could be minor for younger guests. We would go back to find such restfulness.」
