“The hotel was really a hostel and did not match up with images on their website. We were expecting to be staying in a country house hotel not a youth hostel. The only facility we had was wifi. The room was clean but very basic with no ability to make ourselves a tea or coffee without walking down two flights of very steep steps to the kitchen which was a health and safety nightmare - no idea why they could not have put a tea/ coffee station on the top floor. There was no television……

“located in the small downtown Lyme Regis, easy to go to the beach, shops and restaurants it is an very old inn, very tradition english wooden building, downstair is the bar and restaurant, a bit oily smell, beware of no air-con”

“Very good place with dinner and breakfast available. We paid too much via Expedia”

“Nice old building but in need of repairs and updates, room wasn’t particularly clean, old windows with condensation and not be cleaned for a while ! Good breakfast, location not bad but a killer of a hill to get back up at night, was ok as a base but if looking for a special occasion I’d look elsewhere”

“Lovely hotel in an ideal spot for walks along the Dorset coast”

“Very friendly owners, liked the history of the house.”

“Nice hotel”

“Electric charging point spacious comfort room away from road with shared terrace. High quality toiletries well stocked tea and coffee and hot chocolate in the room plus chocolate chip cookies delicious breakfast. Next to an excellent restaurant in a small village just off the main toad. We loved it”

“Pleasant stay in a lovely location. Owner had Very enthusiastic dogs which is great if you’re a dog lover but not really our thing.”

“Excellent comfortable stay. Lovely room very well equipped all good amenities. Wonderful freshly made breakfast was so good. Would definitely stay here again.”

“The room was clean, shower over the bath, but could be a problem to older guests encluding my wife. Placed my towel on the edge of the bath but it was not replaced, but we were told it had to be in the bath. At breakfast we were served with an overcooked fried egg on our first morning, the next morning we had a very greasy and hard fried egg with black bits on and the mushrooms were cold.”
