"The Inn was conveniently located. Walked to a wonderful diner. Bathroom door would not close easily. Room was clean and beds comfortable."

"cleanliness of our room was exceptional. There was a missing light bulb in a standing light. The upholstered chair was very outdated. The TV was difficult to operate. The beds needed one more quilt--the one provided was not warm and was very thin. Directions for using the garage should have been clearer and in the room. Water in shower got extremely hot at times, but once you figure it out, very nice. Proimity to Mass Memorial Hospital was great. A 3-5 minute drive. Would stay here again if I had another medical appointment in that area. Handicap portions were great."

"Spent the Nor'easter weekend at the Charles, went to Red Sox and Rhinocerous play at the ART, hotel is perfectly situated to take advantage of all the restaurants in Harvard Square with easy access to the red line at Harvard."

"Pros: Great base location for exploring (we did Salem and Maine - Boston proper abandoned due to nor’easter ;) ). Comfy beds, hot water, excellent water pressure. Staff was super friendly! On-site parking affordable and easy walking distance to bars/restaurants and Wegmans. Mall less than half a mile away. Cons: One elevator. I got plenty of steps in, though, so that was a win! Soundproofing is iffy-ish. People above may or may not have been doing aerobics. Lots of jumping and thumping, from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm. And people next door one evening definitely needed to turn on the TV so they had something to do besides call out to God repeatedly all night. Bit hard to sleep with that 😉"

"I loved this historic hotel, despite a dated bathroom and room decor. The staff was exceptionally helpful, even though they had 3 rehearsal dinners going on that one evening. Dinner in the restaurant was great, although lengthy. I would absolutely go back!"
