Perfect for our needs

Lovely property in rural location, everything we needed for a great weekend. Children loved seeing the cows close by! Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again.

Lovely country property

Ideal location for a relaxing family get together, loads of space, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Nicely part of a working farm with cows and pigs. Lots of opportunities for walking (inc dogs) from the farm. Curch, pub, National Trust property all easywalk.

Nice Stay

We were a family group of thirteen and there was plenty of room and never felt crowded. The only issue that we found was that the outside space was not particularly toddler friendly.

Great for a family gathering

Really enjoyed our stay here - 16 of us plus dog, spread over three generations - and would certainly return. The house was cozy (loved the wood burner in the lounge) and clean. The age of the property gave it some real charm. We didn’t really use the outside space, but did enjoy a couple of muddy walks in the surrounding area.

30th birthday stay

The house was perfect for my 30th birthday with everything that we needed for a long weekend in the countryside. The bedrooms were a great size and the beds were EXTREMELY comfortable and there was plenty of room for us all. The location was amazing, garden was great and we hired a hot tub for the weekend. Communication with Lucy was really easy and always very welcoming. Would definitely recommend for a large group gathering as the house had everything we needed and more!

A wonderful house for a gathering with friends

We were a group of friends and stayed for a long weekend - five couples, one single, two babies and a dog. The house was perfect for us. Spacious and clean, with a good living room area for relaxing and a huge kitchen table for large group meals and games. The pool table was also a bonus! The bedrooms were large and spread nicely apart, and the little ones loved that there were cows outside! Lucy was a lovely and communicative host - highly recommend!

Walking Weekend

8 friends came for a walking weekend - walked on the Malvern hills, walked along Severn combined with a trip on steam train from Bewdley, and also did a local walk starting from the house. House a good size for our group - we catered for ourselves - kitchen was great for this. Host Lucy was very helpful answering my questions about local pubs in advance of our stay. Thank you.

Fab place and fab hosts

The property I think had been vacant for some time before we arrived. It was very clean but there were a lot of flies but that has to be expected on a farm. We soon sorted it and there was no bother from then on. The hosts were so helpful with anything we needed. Marked the accuracy of the listing down due to the hot tub. We booked it thinking that was included. Would have preferred for it not to have been mentioned.

Lovely stay

It’s a beautiful property. We are 4 families with children who stayed for 3 nights. It was a real bonus that we had a bathroom per family. Kitchen was well equipped and views around property are lovely. A very special old building that’s been carefully cared for with luxurious modern touches. Despite being on a busy-ish road, the noise of the traffic wasn’t obvious from the house. Only downside was we found a walk to the pub a little tricky due to time of year and vegetation being unusually overgrown this time of year. But several of our group did runs from the property and found good enjoyable routes.

There were 10 friends gathering from across the country. This house and location was perfect for us. Spacious with seating for inside and outside, well equipped, comfortable beds, large bedrooms, check in easy, games room and a lovely hot tub. Lucy communicated the check in / check out and the house is well stocked with information about the surrounding area. We visited Frome Valley Vineyard and pre-ordered taxis. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

Comfortable stay for large family

We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay with 3 generations traveling the UK from the US. The property gave us plenty of room and the large kitchen was perfect for family breakfasts before exploring the area. Everyone from babies to toddlers to teens in our group enjoyed their time here. Very homey and welcoming.

University Friends Reunion

I visited with a group of friends for a university reunion - 8 adults and 5 children and we had a wonderful bank holiday weekend! The property was fantastic, there was loads of space to park our 4 cars and there was a great communal space with the kitchen, lounge and pool room all linked together making it easy to keep an eye on the kids whilst not needing to all be in the same room.We also had our own family space as the bedrooms were laid out really well with separate little staircases for access. There was a good variety of rooms, allowing for us to have the children close by, either in the same room or next door.The farmhouse was really well equipped and had everything we needed to prepare our meals.The hot tub was an added bonus!Communication with the owner was great and they were close by when we needed their help.I would definitely recommend the farmhouse for groups of family or friends.

Family weekend

Bank holiday weekend celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary with our three grown up children, their partners and children. The house was perfect, with most families able to have a self contained area for their family. The kitchen area was well equipped and all 15 of us could sit at the table together. Lots of parking and lovely countryside surrounding the house.

Fabulous Farmhouse

Had a wonderful long weekend with 2 families to celebrate a birthday. The house is perfect for a large group. Many hours sat round the large outside table and the kitchen table - eating and playing games. The rooms were all clean, beds comfy, and 4 bathrooms was really appreciated by a large group! Superb, spacious property and ideal for a family break

Lucy the owner was fantastic all the way through the booking, pre-arrival and post-arrival processes. The property is so unique and absolutely huge, so easily accommodated our family of 13 people. It is a working farm and you live next to cows and tractors, but it all adds to the rural experience and one we'd definitely all recommend

Fabulous roomy farmhouse finished to a high standard

great spot for mass gathering

We went to the property for a reunion of university friends, 6 adults, 7 kids. Great roomy house, plenty of stuff to do around and about. Kids loved the cows & pigs!
