A DELIGHTFUL STUDIO APARTMENT WITH FARM LAND VIEWS

  • The Studio at Selden Blacks offers a unique blend of modern comfort and idyllic rustic tranquility.

    Set in the tiny picturesque village of Patching, Selden is only a few minutes walk from two lovely country pubs serving excellent food and ambience. Patching is just 10 minutes from Arundel with its prestigious castle and cathedral. There are countless hiking trails across the South Downs offering breathtaking views year round.


    The Studio is a cozy self-contained apartment, detached from the main farm house with private and exclusive access. It features a luxurious double bed, en-suite bathroom, equipped kitchen and dining area with TV and lounge area, featuring meadow views.

    Selden’s 10 acre farm with its horses, sheep, chickens and dogs offers guests a unique opportunity to indulge in the privacy and comfort of a modern, fully equipped apartment while experiencing authentic country life of a working farm.

    We look forward to making your stay both memorable and enjoyable.

    Although we are always about on the farm you can hide away and the studio is very private.
    This lovely studio is the ideal place to get away to with lovely views over farm in the South Downs National Park.
    There are endless walks and three country pubs all with in walking distance all selling good food.
    The studio ideally situated for visiting Brighton (half an hour away)Arundel four miles away and the seaside resortof Littlehampton ten minutes up the road.

    The studio will be ready for visitors from 3pm on the day of arrival and we kindly ask if visitors could vacate the studio by 11am on day of departure.

Have stayed here before lovely owners very helpful. easy to get about pub's with in walking distance good food. we went to Goodwood about 30-40 mins away depending on traffic.

I absolutely loved staying here, it was so beautiful and peaceful, super handy location. Easy to get to, but most of all...it was like a home from home, you knew the hosts were there if you needed them but they didnt intrude on your stay. I do wish I would have had more time to chat with them a little bit more, but I will definitely be back to stay again....it was just what I needed. Probably one of the best places I've ever stayed....thank you so much ❤️

Comfortable studio above garages. Sloping ceilings one side of bed and over toilet in bathroom could be a problem if you are very tall! Good kitchen facilities. A waste paper bin in the bathroom would be handy. - Also a shelf for toiletries below the mirror in the bathroom. Overall though we really enjoyed staying here.

Restful Getaway

This was a perfect match for my much-needed solo getaway. The studio is spacious and well equipped, with lovely surroundings. With plenty of beautiful countryside to walk in and easy forays into nearby towns such as Littlehampton on the coast and beautiful Arundel, with its impressive castle and wide range of antique shops and galleries, the studio is very well positioned. Did I mention the two pubs down the road and the friendly but discreet hosts?…perfect!
