“We had a wonderful stay at the Ramada Hotel in Nouméa. Our room was spacious and had everything our family of four needed. The kitchenette was a huge bonus, allowing us to prepare some of our own meals and keep costs down during our holiday. The room was clean on arrival, with fresh, comfortable linen. “We asked the front desk staff to book a taxi to the ferry and he booked a private car and the price is three time higher than taxi. When I ask why it is so expensive. He replied that they charged by person. I have never booked a car which charged you by person in the world. As a world- known hotel, such a thing could never happen.”

However, the toilet seat in the suite had a lingering odour and the stopper in the bathtub had to be pulled out with a sharp utensil after every bath. The property needs upgrading in general, lots of patched up jobs that look bad, but the beach is superb and the staff are friendly and helpful.”
