Peaceful home

The house was very spacious. It was quiet and relaxing. At nighttime we were able to see the stars, it was beautiful. It was a great place to disconnect from our busy lives.

Nice, but…

Overall, a pleasant place. My friends and I enjoyed ourselves. But the description did not match the information we received on check-in and details are overlooked in the house’s upkeep. Outdoor umbrellas were mostly broken. The pool heater was reported broken. The hot tub heater tripped offline a few times (fixed with a power cycle recommended on Google). Shower fixture sprayed water out the side. A nice looking telescope was unworkable. The garbage disposal clogged (we fixed it so we could finish cooking dinner and cleaning). Nothing in the description mentioned a 10pm sound curfew. We were surprised by that one in our checking email, and it was enforced by a sound meter, also surprised by that one in the check-in email. The floor on the first floor was filthy I think the owner is trying, but I wonder how long it has been since he last visited or inspected it?

We loved our visit to the property!! The patio facing the hills, nighttime lighting storms in the distance over the mountains, the pool, the quiet, the peace. It was absolutely what my friends and I needed. Our host Bryan was very responsive. We had small issue with the hot tub, but it was managed appropriately as a few other questions. Few suggestions for my next visit (We will be back!) Umbrella for baja shelf in pool area and one for corner of pool, air pump for inflatables, light in laundry room and a folder with all the home details and location of where things are kept and how to use. Overall a great stay. Any other concerns will be addressed directly as they didnt impact our wonderful stay.

Overall Great Experience

Our stay was wonderful, the property and house were very aesthetically pleasing. We were hosting a small bachelorette party with friends and it was the perfect experience. While we had a slight difficulty with the hot tub heater at first, Bryan was extremely transparent and responsive and was able to assist getting it to work immediately. Bryan's attentiveness and responsiveness showed how much he cared about the place and his guests. I would be happy to book this place again for a future trip!

Great Holiday

The Perfect Getaway!

Seven of us stayed at the Blue Cactus Ranch before heading to LA for the new year. We could not have asked for a better stay. The hot tub, outdoor heaters, spacious backyard, and cozy living room were some of our favorite aspects of the home. Not to mention to beautiful scenery all around the area and incredible night sky. Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to go back to the BCR!

Nice place for large groups

This place in Joshua Tree was pretty nice aesthetically and good for large groups. There are many different beds, so everyone had a bed even with a group of 7 people. The location was was good, only a little ways down a dirt road and not too far from the local Walmart. Check in was easy and the host responded fast. The only thing that I wish was different about the place is that there were no blinds in most of the bedrooms so the sun would shine through in the morning whether you liked it or not.
