"Just 5 minutes from Nippori JR station, it's convenient to elsewhere in Tokyo. Staff are very helpful and the property is very clean and comfortable. Good for family trip."
"Very decent experience. The room is spacious enough for the price. Little far from any nearest stations, but it locates in a very quiet, safe residential area near University of Tokyo. "
"Hotel is very convenient on the JY line which makes it easy to get to most major places in Tokyo. Very clean property. Good price, in a nice quiet area"
"Extremely friendly staff and very quiet and clean. Great for couples or solo travelers. You are right next to major station and walking distance from so many great areas in Tokyo!
Will stay here again! "
"This was our first international trip and the hotel was recommended by a friend who recently stayed at the hotel earlier this year. The front staff was very nice and provided helpful tips to us. Mando spoke English which was a plus and he was really helpful and made our trip very pleasant. The train station is less than 5 mins walk, very close to restaurants and convenience store. Our room was perfect for a family of 4! Thank you for making our stay very joyable. "

Nohga Hotel Ueno Tokyo
10/10 Excellent
"Enjoyed a fabulous stay at the Nohga Hotel in Ueno. This is a smaller boutique type hotel that sits in a very quiet area but just 5 minutes from the Ueno Station. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, including a selection of toiletry supplies which was very helpful when one of suitcases arrived late.
There is a nice pop up bar in a comfortable lounge to relax with very reasonable prices. The coin operated laundry was also very convenient. Overall, they made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!"
"Good stay. We did find a used dirty product wrapper between bed and window sill. Otherwise everything was clean. Was worried it will be small from reviews but we had plenty of space for 6 nights staying as a couple. The bath was nice and deep. The mirror desk area had good lighting for makeup. The Onsen was phenomenal to end and start the days with. Use ueno station exit 3 as its the closest one. For improvements, I wish Apa hotel had a public meeting space. And we had fresh towels but also cups, yakutas and hygine supplies brought outside our door every morning which was wrapped in a lot of plastic. I appreciated it but It's lots of plastic waste. Would stay again. Great staff too."
"The staff at both MONday properties were wonderful. We accidentally went to the wrong location and the welcoming team at the hotel kindly directed us the the right hotel and called the right hotel in advance to let them know we had arrived and was due there shortly. Luckily we weren’t the only family that went to the wrong hotel. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very kind and welcoming. "
"We loved staying here. The staff was great, the rooms are spacious and clean and it is right in front of the park, so we could go for a run in the morning, as well as admiring the view from our window. It's very well connected with buses and metro lines - the shinkansen also stops at Ueno so it's a good location. Plenty of food options around and uber eats delivery. We will definitely come back again."
