Great Hotel and Location

Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located in a quiet street with a short walk to the main road to catch the trams. Plenty of eating and shopping very close by in SihlCity.

We stayed for one night when visiting Zurich and found the location convenient (close to train station and tram stops), easily walkable, quiet, and safe. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was lovely - clean and spacious for the family. We had a small balcony that overlooked the area neighborhood, which we all enjoyed. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.

Its a nice hotel with good proximity to Zurich Lake. Breakfast is very nice and staff were attentive. Nothing other than a tennis court, so best to go walking if you want exercise. A nice quiet place.

Swiss Getaway

We did a 1 day stay at the hotel as a stop for our trip through rest of Switzerland. The room was clean, well furnished. The breakfast Buffett was excellent. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Hotel is near a tram station and I recommend getting the day use pass for trams. You can get that from reception. Will definitely stay again

The room we got didn't at all look like the rooms on the web site. It is an old room, with an old bed, and an old chest, on an old carpet, with an old bath. I can only assume that they are upgrading room after room. The whole hotel seems more modern (although not truly modern). Considering that we spent a few nights before at The Home Hotel just one street over, and paid roughly the same, this was not at all satisfactory. With that said, the people at the hotel were very nice, so that is def. a positive. And perhaps, many of the other rooms are newer?

I was in room 314 next to the lift shaft - I was kept awake all night by the noise of the lift. I asked to be moved but was told it was full. When I checked out the receptionist tried to claim that she heard nothing in the room below which is also next to the lift

Bathroom awfull small ,no towel hooks. hair dryer was poorly performing , reading light was not working overall had poor room light , requested kindling a late check out front desk help at the moment let us check out 2 hours later but no without giving an nicely answer .
