The bathroom smelt musty in the morning and evening. Most likely due to the smell from the shower drain pipe coming up. The shower drainage should be checked to prevent drain pipe vapors from getting into the room. The air conditioning was in effective. At least windows should be allowed to be opened for better ventilation

I booked an extra week or so here because I just loved Edinburgh. This hotel is honestly so great. The staff are spectacularly helpful, the complimentary snacks and drinks are plentiful and very convenient, the complimentary drinks at the bar during the social hour are fun (though I missed most of these because I was usually out at that hour, but still, it’s fun if you’re in the hotel, and it’s a good time to have a couple drinks before dinner), the fact that housekeeping is available 24/7 is beyond amazing. I will absolutely be back to stay here again when in Edinburgh next, which I hope can be soon!
