Chateau Laurier is an iconic railway hotel. Beautiful. It is in a great location to see the sights. Very well maintained and we got to say hotel to the hotel dog "Stewart" .
We really enjoyed our stay.

The computers apparently were down, so check in was a total mess. The lines were longer than any I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. The staff did their best, but did not have a good system to keep things moving. It was a huge inconvenience to the guests and nothing was offered to make up for it- no restaurant voucher or discount or anything. I wouldn’t stay there again.

"We had a noise issue with the HVAC system which we noticed after midnight on the first night of a 2 night stay. It was very late so we put up with it. The next morning we informed the front desk and they said someone would look into it. The 2nd night it was the same. We basically couldn't sleep properly ..."
