I had a great stay overall. The trip was relaxing, enjoyable, and in a convenient location. I would rate it 79 out of 100. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The king bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, and we always had hot water. The TV had good channels. Housekeeping did not replace our towels for a few days, and we noticed tiny black bugs in the room. Not sure if that is normal, but they were noticeable. Our room location was not ideal because we could hear loud guests in the hallway late at night, which sometimes woke us up. Most staff were friendly and attentive. Service was good in most restaurants, though when busy attention dropped a bit. Food was better than expected, not amazing but not bad. BBQ night at the buffet was good. Breakfast was okay and some items seemed reheated. One restaurant was the weakest, but the sushi spot and La Piña were very good. Fresh hashbrowns were a highlight. Pools were beautiful and the beach was gorgeous even with red flags most days. The coffee spot and jacuzzi pool areas were great. Weather was windy and cooler than expected but still enjoyable. Location is convenient, next to Oxxo, with Dominos and a pharmacy across the street, about 15 minutes from the Isla Mujeres ferry and 20 minutes from the main party area. Expedia VIP felt minimal. Just a labeled section, a $75 credit not stackable, upgrade only if available which we did not get, plus early and late check we did not need. Overall a solid stay.

Clean room, great view. Food was above average, the buffets were much better than the specialty restaurants. Be leery of the stated $850 resort credit it is really just multiple coupons offering minor discounts for the various resort services.

The entire property was kept spotless. It was noticeable how clean everything was at all times. Staff was friendly and kept our room stocked every day.

The location is great & the resort is modern and pretty. All the staff are friendly and very accommodating. The restaurant serving the breakfast buffet daily was wonderful. The only downsides were the extremely long waits for dinner at the steak grill restaurant and the Italian restaurant. The steak restaurant was enjoyable and food was good , but we did not care for the Italian restaurant. We waited well over an hr. Unless you get there before 6 for opening or dine late at 8:00 or after, you’re gonna have to wait. No reservations are taken. The pools were nice & pool service was good, but the availability of lounge chairs was iffy and crowded. However, the pool concierge was fantastic on finding chairs and setting them up for you. He was awesome! There are 3 pools close together but not huge and there is no swim up bar, which we would enjoy. Our room was very clean & had a slight ocean view but did not have a tub. Shower only, although it was large & water was hot. The last night we had a group of girls in the room beside us that came in laughing and loudly talking at 4:00 am and they were still making lots of noise at 6:00 am. It sounded like they were in our room. Their room was actually adjoined by a door to ours. That was not a good experience. I called The front desk finally, but it didn’t help. They were not considerate and kept laughing and yelling. I would’ve liked some shops in the resort, but there is only one very small gift shop area. I give resort a B-

Clean room, friendly staff and location was the some of the reasons we would love to go back to this resort, only comment would be a complete absence of the Indian and Chinese culture food from the international buffet!
