Dogan Hotel by Prana Hotels & Resorts - Special Class
"Pros:
- Decent pool area with bar nearby
- Consistent breakfast
Cons:
- Water cut out on one of the days (staff weren’t apologetic when we flagged this)
- Several cockroaches found in our shower area (even after staff were sent to clean area)
- General lack of friendliness and taking of responsibility from hotel staff (apart from those cleaning the rooms)
- Poolside bar is very expensive (£16 GBP for 2 beers)"
"! The Marmara Hotel – A Good Stay with a Few Funny Surprises
Overall, I had a very pleasant stay, but there are a few things future guests should know.
First, the website is a little misleading. It mentions an airport shuttle, but there isn’t one, so plan your transportation accordingly.
Second, the attached SheMall looked like a movie set after everyone had gone home—almost completely empty. Don’t expect a shopping adventure there.

"Estuve varios días en este hotel y la experiencia fue muy agradable y tranquila. Todo el personal estuvo atento y amable, y me encantó el chef, quien fue un verdadero ángel y nos ayudó mucho con la comida. Sin embargo, hubo un pequeño inconveniente: durante los casi 15 días que estuvimos allí, no pudimos probar muchos platillos de los restaurantes debido a un problema con las moscas. Había muchas moscas sobre los quesos, frutas, ensaladas y verduras, excepto en los platillos que estaban...
"Lovely little hotel. Have no bad thing to say. We stayed for a week. Room was lovely big and clean. We hand sea view was absolutely amazing. Staff is very friendly, food is nice at breakfast you always find something to eat. Local to old town 10 min walk and 5 min by a taxi. Lovely old town lots to see and lots of shops and market. Pool was nice and clean, sun beds were nice and there is clean towels you can have every day. Local shops and amazing kebab shop. Will definitely return. Thank you...
"We’re not “all inclusive” type people and prefer to have a kitchen to prepare food, so Kamkat was great. It was also not close in to the “inclusive” path of hotels lined end to end on the beach. Food stores were not so close (lots of souvenir shops mostly). But was found many options north of D400 that were walkable. If you’re visiting Goynuk and want a small, simple, beautiful Turkish garden to stay in - Kamkat is it! Our host was gracious, helpful, and served us tea and homemade stuffed grape...
