「Comfort and convenience」

「地點很好，知名餐廳bettys就在附近，但旅館老舊，地板不平，每一步都會發出聲響，深夜時聽到隔壁傳來的地板嘎吱聲有些恐怖。不會想再來」

「The hotel is wonderfully located in a beautiful old building. The bar area is very comfortably and the rooms are nice and bright, having had a refurb in the recent past. The staff are hit and miss, some are absolutely lovely, caring and helpful, others treat you like you’re in the way, which is a shame. The rooms have an iron and ironing board, kettle and basic toiletries.」

「Unfortunately there was a very large wedding on the weekend we were there which definitely impacted negatively on our stay as there were lots of very loud people in the public areas. It would be better if they could be allocated areas that were specifically for them. Also disappointed in the menu for the dining room. I did not feel that the options reflected the rest of the facilities in the hotel. 」

「We had a lovely room but access to the hotel for people with mobility issues would be an issue as there is a steep flight of steps to reception and to the rooms. Not ideal if bringing heavy cases. Decor is lovely but in terms of cleanliness our bath was not thoroughly cleaned as it was oily on the sides. 」

「This is our favourite hotel for stop off before heading back to Scotland,the staff are friendly and extremely friendly,great food comfy sleep.」

「Excellent value for money, within walking distance of local bars and restaurants. The bar attached to hotel called The Fat Badger has a great atmosphere, and a lovely outdoor seating area with heaters for when it’s a bit chilly. Would highly recommend.」
