“Arrived about 8.00pm. Checked into room and found the toilet wouldn't flush. Receptionist was there right away but failed to fix it. Transferred us to a different room right away. The new room was larger - 4 poster bed. Had to turn the radiator off and open the windows for fresh air. This made it very noisy from traffic noise. The room had a bath and a shower but the shower didn't work. Otherwise fine. The staff were friendly and helpful.”

“We stayed in the walled garden cottage. It was lovely inside and very clean. The facilities were good although we couldn’t operate the oven and thought an idiot’s guide may be useful. We visited the pub on one evening but because we were only having a drink we weren’t allowed to sit at a table.
