“Great hotel if you just want to use the very well presented facilities inside the hotel confines. It's easy to find but sitting on the edge of an industrial estate. Its a 15 minute walk into the centre of the town. ”

“We had a 2 night stay. Craig was chatty, but failed to point out a few things at breakfast on the first morning which proved a little irritating. The pool is only available for guests on certain hours, for example 6-10pm only. Also, rooms are not serviced unless you actually ask for them to be. This information was on the noticeboard but this was not pointed out, so we didn't see it. Otherwise, a nice stay, a good breakfast. Oh, and very light coloured curtains so expect to be woken early.”

“Fabulous setting but signage needs improving Room was very comfortable but water in bathroom not potable for some reason. Didn't use any of the facilities but they looked superb and the grounds and views were magnificent. It was a shame the restaurant was fully booked as was the pub in the village we were directed to. Excellent breakfast in the morning ”

“Fantastic stately home with lovely gardens. We had the cheapest room on the third floor and it was fine. The evening meal was ok but not fantastic. There is plenty to do and must be a golfers paradise. The ground floor rooms were magnificent ”
