“Le camere erano carine, pulite e fornite di tutto ma l’organizzazione è stata molto scadente. Non avevano avvisato la signora delle pulizie e siamo potute entrare in casa solo la sera. Inoltre non funzionava la caldaia, il riscaldamento e il gas.”

“We spent three weeks in Numa’s spacious and beautiful apartment. Still decorated as it was when his mother lived there, the apartment had a warm and authentic feel. Check in was very welcoming and smooth. The apartment is outfitted very well with everything we needed. The terraces were wonderful and we slept very well in the beds. Finally, the location was beyond compare. Located in a small and ancient street (which was actually washed with lemony power washing several times a week by the city……

“Comfortabele woning van alle gemakken voorzien op 15 min loopafstand van het centrum. Ook dichtbij start roltrap naar centrum. Geen locatie voor mensen die niet goed ter been zijn. Parkeren op openbare weg vlakbij appartement is meestal goed mogelijk met aanwijzing gastvrouw. Aardige gastvrouw die snel communiceert.”

“Beautiful vistas from every window - just far enough from the tourist fray but very walkable to sites and whatever you need. Very comfy bed too. Not suitable if you can’t do stairs. The hosts were so helpful. Grazie Mille”

“Le Balze is the ideal location for exploring the area around Perugia. Set in a beautiful garden, it is quiet, safe and peaceful, yet close enough to everything to make it convenient, especially if you have a car. Valentina is a gracious and beautiful host. Her instructions about how to reach the place and the information she provides about the area are extremely clear and useful. Il Rustico is spacious, well equipped and comfortable. I used the place for as a base to explore the surrounding……

“This was an AMAZING find! Piero and Stefano have created a little paradise that overlooks Assisi. They are so communicative, sweet, and knowledgable. They gave us recommendations for grocery, dining, etc. and everything was amazing. The residence itself is rich with culture from their travels - there is no shortage of things to admire! The accommodations are comfortable and spacious, with beautiful rooms. The outside pergola is just breathtaking, and if you rent the jacuzzi also it’s an amazing……

“Nice place to stay of 2 to 4 people. Clean, quiet and the master bed was comfortable. Marco was quick to respond to any question we had. In the heart of the historical center, minutes away on foot. Restaurants, and shopping all around. Would stay there again!”

“We had a wonderful time at this property. Everything was as described and the apartment was clean and comfortable and well stocked with basic amenities. It was located near to the centre of town and the bus station which made getting around quite easy. Andrea was very helpful and responsive when we needed his advice and even offered to drive us to the airport when it looked as if our taxi wasn't going to turn up. Perugia is a lovely city and we hope to come again and stay in Andrea's apartment.……

“The apartment is big, light-filled and clean. The furniture is very comfortable and the pool is huge and even has a water feature. The grounds are beautiful, with seating areas everywhere. But the best experience was our hostess, Valentina. She's warm and welcoming and so accessible and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place.”
