“Location: Excellent, on Ortigia island but close to mainland. Near open air market & many good restaurants. Facilities: Common areas are superb & luxurious. Room is OK, not great. Bathroom too small, especially shower, which also leaks after each use. Service: At breakfast, service is excellent. Housekeeping is OK, sometimes good, sometimes a bit off. Food: Judging from breakfast, restaurant probably very good. In conclusion: If the bathroom was larger and better, it would truly be a 5-star……

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Palazzo Artemide. Ortigia is a charming town with lively streets, many great restaurants, and cute stores. The hotel is in an incredible location right between the cathedral and one of the best shopping streets. Our room slept three people very comfortably and had a little terrace with a view of the cathedral on one side and the sea on the other! “The room was big enough for two people and they gave us two single beds as requested. the location of the hotel couldn't have been more convenient and the breakfast was real nice and they had quite a lot of choices. One thing that I like the most was the staffs, a women there helped us with everything we needed to travel around and extended the room one more night for us. The down sides were the communication within the staffs I guess as the young lady said if we wanted to extend one more night,……

“Aucune isolation phonique, les portes de la chambre laisse passer tout le bruit dans les couloirs et claquent. Nous avons du les caler avec du papier carton. Les repas ne sont pas tous frais beaucoup de produits congelés et mal cuits. On nous a fait payer un supplément pour le « club», ce qui resume a un animateur qui fait le soir du karaoke et avoir accès au transat sur la plage. Cette dernière est decrite comme privée, la seule partie privée est devant l’hôtel le reste est en accès libre. Même……

Breakfast was nice since there arent many options very close but there was a charge. Staff was very friendly and helpful but some didnt speak English very well so patience is key or better to know some Italian! “Wir - 3 Erwachsene, 1 Teenie und 3 Kinder - hatten wundervolle Herbstferien in der Villa Ludovica. Von der Buchung bis zur Abreise waren Ilaria und Francesco wunderbare Hosts. Sie waren immer ansprechbar, haben sofort auf Wünsche / Fragen reagiert und uns mit tollen Restauranttips versorgt. Francesco hat uns sogar Sonntagmorgen 6.00 Uhr noch verabschiedet! Das Haus war für uns absolut ausreichend. Italienische zweckmäßige Einrichtung. Herausragend war der Pool mit Sprungbrett - der immer……

“We rented a car and drove from Siracusa, with stops in surprisingly beautiful Noto and historic Modica before arriving in Ragusa, one of the most beautifully situated cities anywhere! I chose the Itria Palace due to it's location and with our having a car, parking was an issue. Right next to the hotel is a free public parking lot with plenty of spaces. And, there is a ramp to the hotel's lower entrance. We were housed in the hotel's annex located across the street, which is lovely, the rooms……

“Wonderful experience at this hotel which is in a renovated palazzo. The front desk staff were wonderful and friendly, especially Marisa who recommended the zucchini pizza at the restaurant around the block. The room was fine, very comfortable bed. The morning breakfast was laid out the grand ballroom and there were many options to choose from in the buffet. We felt very well cared for from start to finish. Our only regret was that we were just staying one night. We wish we could have stayed……
