Would advise using a cab to the hotel if you have large bags as uphill walk can be tough. Much easier to go downhill. Rooms were great and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again."

So while you're in the heart of a tourist area, you'd never know it. We loved everything about this hotel and it has a great gym."

"Excellent stay at the Cheval The Edinburgh Grand. It is located in the New Town area but it is a short walk to Old Town. We found it was a nice respite to leave the Old Town area due to how busy it is (think Times Square busy). Every person we encountered at the hotel was extremely nice and professional. Our room was clean and comfortable. would highly recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh."

"Amazing room and view but the elevator was out of service so we had to lug our stuff down the stairs and the coffee machine in the lounge was broken as well. Locations was amazing, could see the castle from the window. I would love to stay there again in the future! "

"My apartment was clean and larger than expected, with a a well stocked kitchen and spacious bathroom. Easy for EICC where I was at a conference. Close to Haymarket station abd tram. Very reasonably priced compared with hotels. Check in and out smooth. Would recommend. "
