"The property is quite astounding in regards to service and cleanliness. Staff, not only the receptionists, but including the cleaning and wait staff are very polite and friendly. The only thing that might throw off people a bit, though not difficult, is the self check-in process. It wasn’t the traditional way of checking in with the receptionist though they are available if you need assistance getting the process done. One thing that did disappoint me was not being to use their sauna facility due to me having tattoos. I mean it is Japan, but I had hoped that seeing their guests are also foreigners they would be somewhat accommodating despite the traditional norms. Besides that, I had a wonderful stay and I’d most likely stay again here or on their other hotels around Japan. "
