The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was lovely and the shower - perfection. Tea and biscuits every morning and they even gave me extra, when I mentioned how much I liked them. “Beautiful room, tremendous view, lots of little touches, e.g. binoculars on the window ledge, dressing gown and slippers, a dram left on the window ledge, a proper bottle of milk left in the fridge, a wee bottle of irn bru, energy bars….. and the list goes on! So very thoughtful. We had the opportunity to speak to both Peter and Nicola and they were genuinely interested in us having a great time, which we did. Must be one of the best guest houses in Scotland, and we’ve visited loads of them. Top……

“The room was clean, the hotel areas were nice but I feel that the staff could have been friendlier. It was kind of an awkward feeling and there wasn’t an enthusiasm to help us find where to go or to accommodate any requests. Hotel is beautiful but a little further out from Oban than the other hotels so walking is doable but challenging with rain. Breakfast was good but a little expensive for what you get. Parking is off site and only a few spots on the front area. Off site parking can be full or……
