「The room and facilities are old looking and small. Especially for the bathroom. But the beds are clean and tidy and provide car parking. 」

「We stayed at the hotel for one night. It is a simple hotel in a historic building.」

「The room was adequate no headboards on beds, room sparse, The TV should be mounted on the wall, furniture dated but clean. Bathroom good size, good shower but the shower gel looked as it had been left behind by last occupant. Disappointed with breakfast no fruit salad and when asked for poached eggs the staff could not provide (really) Overall underwhelming and would not recommend.」

「The hotel was quaint and charming, a little old in places but nothing major. The staffs were extremely helpful and pleasant. The location was great. Breakfast was delicious, we also had dinner there and it was wonderful, other than they did not cook my steak correctly, but they took it off the bill, which is great customer service.」

「Old hotel and not really clean. Hair on linen. The worst thing is no wifi connection at all because they are fixing it for days. The hotel should inform guests who want to book the hotel in advance rather than saying sorry after we arrived. Really bad experience as we are cheated.」

「This lovely hotel was sited near the centre of Oban. The street often had parking spaces, albeit for two hours, payable at a meter. The hotel can tell you how to extend parking time. The room was kitted out with everything we needed. Breakfast was (in the hotel's words), "quirky", due to a small kitchen and dining room, but perfectly adequate. The staff were welcoming, super friendly and helpful. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.」

「Another fantastic stay at Aspen lodge where nothing is too much trouble and you are served amazing breakfasts. Stayed for a week and we literally had a different breakfast daily. You can eat indoors or outdoors too here. We came back for the views and location, the food and the peace and most of all the warmth and kindness and local knowledge of our host A big thankyou once again」

「A perfect B&B, gorgeous rooms and meticulously cleaned. Breakfast is small but good, the host is helpful and welcoming. The only downside is that it’s quite high up above town, the walk is a bit nasty, but a lovely view.」
