"Well located next to train station. Suitable for a nights stay but would not recommend for longer stays. Has everything you need, was quite and clean."

"Eye-wateringly expensive - taking advantage of the Pollutec event I expect (free market economy and all that). Due to there being no reception after hours, we had to deal with the security guard who was on duty, who was rude and unhelpful (his phone call much more important). Room was tiny, with pillows so thin they were almost see-through. Avoid at all costs, you will be disappointed."

"Ok for a short stay. Quite a few stairs to climb. Due for a proper Reno/update. Baseboards not cleaned and there should be a proper shelving for extra blankets as they appear to be stuffed into a closet on the floor. Beds we’re comfortable."

"Quaint but newly renovated boutique hotel"

"There is no free parking. The fee for self parking garage is only €5. Hotel is clean. Personnel is accommodating. Location of the hotel is not the best, the area is shady at night and busy in the morning. However, if you’ll drive away for a few minutes you can find restaurants, bars, and a gas station with a convenience store and nice bakery."

"Lovely few nights spent at Hôtel Victoria. Fairly walkable to the city’s attractions and restaurants. The room and bathroom were quite small, but reasonable for the price. Very kind and friendly staff, who were always extremely helpful and willing to chat. "

"Very central and walkable to explore the beautiful city of Lyon! Front desk people we’re mildly unfriendly which is why I couldn’t give 5 stars but a very satisfactory stay for someone(s) looking for a semi affordable spot to explore the city for a couple days ! "

"Cheap, cheerful. Acceptable, except only one extra pillow for 2 people. I asked at reception, but was told they could not provide another pillow under any circumstance. So one of us did not get a good nights sleep."

"Easy Check in and out. The food truck that stops there early evening is very handy."

"The hotel is very basic- small shower, no hairdryer in room, small sink. But the bed was comfortable, there was a large screen TV, and staff was informed and accommodating. Shuttle to airport was available as advertised and on time (at 5 am!) Very satisfied with the stay."

"It was/is ideal for events that are held at the Groupama stade in Lyon. Within in easy walking distance of the stade and trams for Lyon centre. Also there is a beer cave on the way! Along with a Boulangerie, grand frais(veg etc)and a supermarket very close by. Parking excellent and easy access and secure. Downside we had breakfast but the scrambled eggs and bacon were cold but the othe breakfast items were many and varied."

"Staff is very friendly and willing to help and give information. Bathroom would give raw sewage smell even when it wasn’t used and fans on the room did not work. Needed to open windows which wasn’t ideal. Definite issue with bugs as well. "

"Small room but very clean and bed was comfortable. Access to the hotel after hours (19:00) was through the Ibis Styles hotel next door. Great location close to the T1/2 Tramway. "

"I booked 2 nights only. It was a good price per quality. The whole staff at the reception was super nice responsive and always ready to help. The only reason why I don't give a full 5 star it's because in my floor someone had 2 small dogs and they were very noisy no matter if it was day or night. The second day in front of that door there was a huge stain in the carpet, not nice nor very hygienic. Other than that everything was fine."
