“Booking of 2 rooms, one ground floor one upper floor. In laws (in their 60’s and 70’s) took the ground floor for ease / mobility. Stay was fine until last day when upon checking out, the hotel tried to charge my in-laws for damage in the room. When we moved in we noticed there was damage but it was cosmetic ie minor holes in doors, cracks in walls etc quite typical of Spanish apartments so foolishly we never raised it with management. Apparently every room is turned around and fully repaired……

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Esmeralda Homes Aparthotel. Check‑in was simple and straightforward, and the duplex itself was clean, modern, and well appointed. The only feature we weren’t entirely convinced by was the large bathtub on the upper sun terrace — an interesting choice, though we weren’t sure how practical it was.
