“Character-limited review: We stayed in a top-floor triple room at the Croft Court Hotel for the Shabbat of July 11-13. On foot, it's close to plenty of shuls, but not to as many restaurants or shop as some other accommodations. By bike, bus, or car, though, getting around to those shops or restaurants won't be a problem. The hotel is just a couple of bus stops from Golders Green Station, and another minute or two down the street, so getting there by public transit is quite convenient. HOWEVER,……

“The room was adequate, but the bathroom cleanliness needed some attention. The shower had stains and the accessible chair paint was peeling and rusted. I ask for my towels to be replaced and additional toilet paper two days in a row. ”

“I overpaid for the the rooms by a day and realized my mistake immediately and asked for a refund of the one day. The hotel refused. Then Air Canada canceled my flight because of the staff strike. I could not travel. I asked fora refund. The hotel declined since I did not pay extra fee for a refund. No empathy. I lost almost $700 t o the hotel without staying there. I will never book the hotel again. Additionally, I paid for protection. My claim was declined because notice of the strike had been……
