"Very modern and clean hotel, lots of space in room, decent size wardrobe and draws, bed very comfortable. Good selection at breakfast which was constantly restocked, good location for harbour walks with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Nice space on roof to take food and drinks up to giving views over the waterfront. Only downside which wasn’t a problem for us was the concert venue opposite, if the group playing that night are to your taste you get a free concert, but as I said it wasn’t a problem and would not hesitate to stay again"

"While staying at the homewood suites in seaport Boston with my Fiancé for his birthday we decided to not use my members account to see if anything would change in the way we received service and boy did it, while some of the staff were great others were extremely disrespectful and prejudice we had asked one of the women working the front desk if we were able to grab a loaner umbrella as it was forecasted to rain, she eyed my fiancé and myself up and down and told us “No those are for PAYING GUESTS” as if we didn’t just spend close to a THOUSAND USD for a 2 night stay , I brushed her off and reminded her that we ARE in fact PAYING guests in room 530 and she then made up an excuse that they have none left. While visiting we tried to make the best of the amenities by checking out the pool… while everything seemed to go fine a family of three walked in with two 10/13 year old children and that’s when the pool went wrong the children unsupervised sprayed water from shower faucets onto other guests items, Room 530s dishwasher was also broken upon arrival so we were unable to comfortably use the appliances in the room not to mention the ceiling looked disgusting and dirty full of cracks and holes the view was mediocre at best and the “complementary” hot breakfast was ice cold by 8 am overall I would recommend finding another hotel/kitchenet/ suite in the area as the hotel and staff did not meet the standards set for the prices they are charging to stay the Signed a unhappy guest"

"The hotel lobby was extremely loud - so much so that I couldn’t hold a conversation there. There was a “resort fee” over and above the Expedia rate, but this was not a resort and that just felt annoying. There was no room service- just a “pantry” with expensive and mediocre food and a microwave. I would have chosen a different hotel had I known any of these things."

"We checked in on Saturday 5/23 and found bed bugs in the King bed suite. Our travel needs included having the kitchenette and a separate bedroom. We took pictures and videos of the bed bugs and showed them to management. They simply offered a refund of the suite and a stay in smaller room. We told them a standard room would not work for us. The front desk worker did not attempt to help us beyond this, saying they needed to launch an investigation into the bugs and her hands were tied. In my eyes, a hotel internal investigation does not help a travelling family sleep tonight. Management would be better suited to solving the situation at hand and worry about their internal investigation later. They never offered to follow up, never offered to call other hotels, never offered anything to crying kids as we went back and forth, never offered perhaps even a coupon to a restaurant since we checked in at 5:00 and were now without a room at 7:00. Just blank stares and "investigations." We went to the Seaport Hotel. My child was not even at the front desk and the worker asked "Are you travelling with children?" I said yes, and they got a gift bag for a child they did not even meet. Meanwhile, at Element, the workers stood by as my kids was telling us that he was hungry without even the offer of some crayons or something. Night and Day. I get things happen. It isn't the bed bugs that will prevent a next stay, it was the way staff handled this, like we were inconveniencing them."
