「Great hotel, clean, friendly staff just food a bit expensive. Would have been perfect if food sensibly priced. Doesn’t need to be London city prices here for relatively basic food. 」

「The staff was very pleasant. The walk from the train station was somewhat challenging, mostly uphill, and I was walking with a cane. The room was very nice.」

「Nice property for the most part. Didn’t realize and wasn’t told bedrooom is below ground with no windows for courtyard suite but it didn’t bother us after all. Clothes washer was a bit dirty but was free to use.」

「We stayed in one of the lodges which was superb. Clean, with quality furnishings, comfortable beds, and a two minute stroll to the amenities. Beautiful, well kept grounds and pleasant, helpful staff made this a fantastic stay. Although we only stayed for the one night, we were so impressed we are now intending to book one of the lodges for several nights next time. I should also mention that the surrounding countryside is stunning and there is plenty to do and see for all ages.」

「There is no air con and the window cannot be opened. There is no curtain near the bath tub. No staff come to clean up after 11 am. Breakfast which costs 12.5 pounds but very few choices . Small hotel not quite the same as in the advertisement. 」
