“The hotel is in the perfect spot, right in the harbour. The room was massive and well equipped with a lovely view. The building is obviously extremely old which has its limitations on decor etc but we had an amazing time there. Would recommend.”

“Location location location. It is right in St Ives on the beach. Work out facilities were dated. Loud music playing with no consideration for guests working out. The restaurant is not a destination. Many other better options in the area. A watch out. If traveling with lots of luggage get ready for a strenuous pilgrimage from the train to the hotel up a winding path with stairs.”

“While very comfortable, the bed especially, and basically clean and useable, the cliff top room was not scrupulously clean, heavily dusty in places, had broken curtain and blind that were then not properly fixed when raised, the lit magnifying mirror in the bathroom didn’t work and had thick dust on the back, the heated towel rail didn’t and again the lower rungs not wiped clean of dust and rust. One bath robe for the two of us, which we didn’t mind or raise as we don’t use them, no towels on……
