「There are two Plume of Feathers in Cornwall. If you search for the one in Portscatho on Google this one is likely to show up and I made the mistake in booking it. When I contacted them once I had realised my error they said it was not up to them to refund but Expedia - who I contacted. They were helpful and sympathetic - but they said it was actually at the discretion of the host who they contacted on my behalf but they declined my request. I again contacted the PoF to ask them to reconsider...

「We loved The Nici hotel i Newquay! The staf was amazing, clean and nice room, and the location was perfect. The hotel had only been open for a month when er were there, so the pool was not ready yet. But we got a free massage and the kids could have a free surfinglesson if they had wanted to. It is close to everything in town, so we walked everywhere. We really liked this hotell, and would stay there again if we're coming back to Newquay!」

「The room we stayed in was rm 5 The Edge, we had full view of the beach and Ocean. The town was within walking distance easy to get around. The hotel and staff were excellent. Would definitely stay again.」

「The view and setting really made the trip and the staff were so lovely, kind and helpful! Watching the sunset each evening outside on the rocks was glorious. The complementary breakfast was really great, fresh baked croissants and a list of hot options. The rooms were clean and basic but just want was needed really. The location was fantastic for some great walks and sightseeing. I really enjoyed our 2 nights there and would go back.」

「We have stayed here many times over the past ten years. There has been quite a gap between our last stay and this. It is a very relaxing place to stay . The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good , and the bed very comfortable.」

「It's a lovely, peaceful place in a lovely area, a classic english countryside stay. If if you re afraid of spiders I wouldn't recommend it as it is in the heart of the greenery. It could have been kept better as it seemed a bit old. And the classic moldy smell.. Ah it got me so bad I had to wrap my tshirt around my face. But that's kind of what you get when you go to countryside I guess.」
