“I arrived a day early by accident 😬 but the staff were amazing and changed my day for me which i was truly grateful for. The room was spotless with a heater, fan, iron, hairdryer, kettle etc... I had a lovely evening swim in the heated pool. I didn't eat there as i was with my 13 year old daughter so we went to the nearby shopping center for food and a mooch around but the food at the hotel smelt so nice and it looked good with a nice bar and lounge area. The grounds of Basing House are great... so save your visit for a sunny day. The old barn is the biggest in the South of England, and still has some awesome cannonball damage from the English civil war. Be sure to check out the cannon at the top of the hill (aimed at Basingstoke town centre) and the stunning Wadworth pub near the entrance of near the entrance to the car park! Beer o'clock!
