“Got a warm welcome from the cheerful lady on reception. Room was spotlessly clean. Good size bar with cold beer on draught. Would stay here again.”

“Food is excellent and beds are very comfy. It's old-fashioned in that it's a conversion of an older building, so windows are single-glazed and the doors open with actual keys. But the rooms have everything you'd expect from a professionally run establishment. Staff are all friendly and professional though you sometimes have to seek them out – hardly surprising as there are only six rooms so they can't have someone permanently on duty.”

“As an older property and with all the difficulties to maintain such a property I feel it has been taken care of very well , it's charming and welcoming, clean a comfortable and the food is great. We loved our 3 nights and hope to return in the future.”
