"We feel as though we are somehow doing Trump MacLeod House some sort of disservice by calling it a Hotel as from arrival we never felt that we were staying in a Hotel. It felt more as though we were guests in a Baronial home. The standard of service, food and accommodation was exceptional. The entire Staff made us feel at home from the moment of arrival. The quality of finish and standard of housekeeping was second to none. A very peaceful and relaxing stay. 5 stars all the way! "

House was rather noisy from the elements outside (wind though the old fireplace that has not been covered correctly) plus the noise from interior such as boiler. "The Aberdeen Douglas was a perfect choice to meet our needs for this 2 night stay .The hotel is central and convenient to the Train Station,Bus station and all the attractions the city has to offer .All the staff we come into contact with during our stay on reception ,were so friendly and helpful .We had a problem with the window in our 1st room but after pointing this out to reception ,we were moved ,no problem to another room .The breakfast was good and plentiful and again such helpful and friendly staff in the breakfast room ,who ensured our day got off to a great start .Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Aberdeen Douglas ,you all made our stay so enjoyable ."
