「Small room and somewhat dated decor; the shower was poor. I did have thecsmallest and cheapest room. However, a really comfortable bed and crisp bedding. The staff were fantastic, proper old school attentive and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked for you. My son is a student and lives in Edinburgh, I asked if he could join me for breakfast. Not only did they say yes, they said there was no charge - how nice is that? I used this as a scouting visit to see if I will come...

「I originally thought it would be a guesthouse quality in terms of cleanliness, but turned out it’s even cleaner than a hotel especially the bathroom. 「We chose this hotel for its location for a family matter we needed to take care of. On approaching the hotel, the views across the firth were amazing!! The online check in completed a day before meant we had minimal to do at reception, with staff member being really helpful and explained that the swimming pool, gym and games area were included in the price, and xould be used as often as we liked and positively encouraged us to use it. The food served for breakfast and evening meal was fantastic....
