「From the moment we arrived we settled in immediately. Everything we needed was there.Quiet ,spacious and comfortable rooms for 4 adults and two children. Outdoor space was lovely to sit out when the weather was good, great views too.and private parking for cars. So handy for Chester,easy park and ride, the zoo Liverpool,West Kirby, Cheshire Oaks retail.Loved the White Lion with good food ,plenty seating in and out. Definitely recommend the beautiful Old Stables.」

「Property well located for access to Anfield and Goodison. Guaranteed street parking on match day is nice (well, permit). It is multilevel so be aware of that (and the stairs were a bit steep for my 80 yr old mom ,but she managed). Only thing we would have liked flto see different was the heat to be turned on the day we were arriving since the house was quite cold and took til the morning to warm up (we arrived at night). But would recommend to friends.」

「More a self catering flat than an hotel however We were happy with it. It is in the suburbs of St Helens a distance from the town centre. St Helens Junction train station is about 5 mins walk, and a good little cafe for breakfast less than 2 mins walk. The area was quiet at night and there are a couple of local shops equally close for such things as milk for drinks.We used it as a base to explore the area hence we only used the kettle and the wifi. Would be happy to use again.」

Communication with the host was easy and they were prompt with their replies. It is an easy walk to the waterfront and to the town centre.
