「The Octant Vila Monte is a beautiful hotel set into the countryside about 4-5 miles from the beach. As soon as we arrived we felt relaxed and peaceful as the hotel, its grounds and our room were presented beautifully. 「Not sure why this hotel is only 1 star - it was better than some 3 star hotels. Mario on reception is very helpful and friendly. The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay including parking and a pool. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Wifi good, shower pressure good. Breakfast ok but lots of homemade cakes which were yummy. Walk into Tavira starts on busy main road with no footpath, but its fine if you are careful. Would recommend this hotel.」
