DO NOT STAY
Absolutely a horrible place. After confirming our room multiple times a week before our checked I was greeted to a closed office and told that my room wasn’t never booked (even thought I have phone records and emails for proof) and was turned away in the middle of the night. Management has yet to call and offer compensation or a remedy for there problems that was completely avoidable. Would not recommend this establishment.

Some tried to come in our room. Even though the room was locked, and said wrong room, and left right away when they knew someone is in the room. They also charged as a different amount upon arrival.

Half-Way House
The place is a half-way house! Very dirty furniture and no air condition in the room. The lady Liz, site manager, was very nice and refunded me my money when she realized that there was no AC and the furniture was very dirty

Awful stay at red inn
Who ever clean my room went through my things they only fix bed and did nothing else. It didn't make me feel secure to leave my stuff in here for three nights. I didn't know this hotel would be so far away from my job. I wish I can cancel tomorrow and get closer to my usual picks.

I was was it was a little apprehensive because it was so inexpensive. But it was clean, quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The proprietor was very nice. There were light-filtering shades on the windows and no curtains so the lights from the parking lot shined through. Plus, there was a huge lighted "EXIT" sign over the door which I thought was unnecessary. However, I would stay there again and will just bring a blindfold for sleeping. A good value for the money.

Thw lady at the desk was very nice, but the hotel for its rating and cost was way less then adequate. The room had bugs, and had stains on the sheets. d bathroom door was broken, and there was stains on the floor. I would never stay or use gbis hotel again, i wish i could get a refund.

Does not recognize Hotels.com
We pulled up and did not even stay. They said they were not part of Hotels.com. It was a very scary neighborhood. A man was sitting outside drinking alcohol and told us if we wanted to stay there we needed to knock on room number 12 that man would help us. We drove away as fast as we could. We called Hotels.com canceled that reservation and booked a nicer hotel miles away. Because they said they are not part of Hotels.com they really should be removed from your website. That was misleading and you put us in a dangerous situation.

adequate but the room needs a little tlc/repair
The staff was fantastic when I could find them, but the room had a bit of a smell and was kind of beat up (with marks on the walls, a dresser that wouldn’t stay closed, the only electrical outlet was 1/2 melted). The room was laid out awkwardly, the side table was too far away from an outlet for anything on it to be plugged in so I was unable to use the lamp or have anything plugged in while it was on the bedside table. The walls were extremely thin so I could hear in detail the conversations and t.v.’s of the other rooms around me. Traffic sounds were minimal, which was great since this is right off of the highway. Lastly a big red Exit sign over the inside of the door that was brightly illuminated when the room was dark, so when I was sleeping the room was lit up red. All of this was a little disappointing since I opted for the more expensive room. I had family in another cheaper room and their experience was fine, altogether much nicer. I never received the wifi password and the office didn’t open until 11am so there was no one at the front desk until 11 am, which made it hard to communicate with anyone if I needed something. The air conditioner worked well, the bathroom was fairly clean but there were a lot of little spiders near the sink. The water temperature and pressure was decent. Over all this experience was basically adequate. Better and worse than anticipated in ways, but it was cost efficient.

Okay, I originally went to that particular property because I Personally thought that I'd be able to avoid nonsense and more drama, yet I can now see that that's Not going to happen No matter where I go in the Country let Alone around the Washington DC, where certain individuals keep coming with the behind your back Gossip and Lying, Covering up for whom and/or What, making sure that I'm Never going to be able to find Peace anywhere, especially while in the DC Metro area trying to inform Government of a few things! How is this place on the first day was one price, but then the next day ended up being over $20 more with No WiFi and a few other issues, Anything that's going to Help keep me Broken and out on the Streets unable to say Anything to Anybody!

Good, clean cheap motel.
It's a Spartan, clean, quiet place to stay on the outskirts of DC. Manager is very attentive, but it's a small motel without many creature comforts you get from bigger chains. Would definitely use it again if I was traveling by myself.

Good room
A good basic hotel located on a main road close to restaurants and grocery stores. TV channels were limited and not the usual offerings. The shower is ridiculously small. But it’s clean and the staff is nice and helpful.

Good hotel close by Ft. Belvoir
Had to visit Ft. Belvoir, very conveniently located, but nothing else to do. Check in was easy, but when I wanted to check out, I found the registration area close and the desk vacated. However, all went well after a short call.

The email I got from the property claimed that the hotel check in ends at midnight and that a late check-in has to be called in advance, however, they close at 11:30. Later when addressing this, they ignored the fact that their email lied and just tried justifying the property closing early claiming it's how their prices are low (Other hotels have even lower prices and have a proper check in front desk), and never once addressed that. Also, at the very end of my visit, management came knocking on my door asking for me to remove a bad review I left earlier. Very unprofessional, and later on, days after I left, management sent me a passive-aggressive email regarding the experience, their policies, and everything about the visit. Highly recommend not staying there. It doesn't do you any good if you have a late flight or are arriving late, the email lies, and management is very unprofessional and might knock on your door if you leave a bad review.

The staff was so helpful after my surgery. They allowed my brother and I to check in early and made it very easy. They are undergoing some renovationss right now, which accounts for some disorder in appearance.

Stone tiled floors are much nicer than carpet! I would ave enjoyed an easy chair in the room, but the bed was quite comfortable. Excellent service, thank you.

There won't be anyone at the desk to check you in. You have to call a number posted on the door but no one answered for me in two attempts. Once we finally got a room, it was mystifyingly damp. It felt like we were staying in a jungle swamp rather than Alexandria. The tile floor stayed wet the whole time and there were noticeable cigarette burns everywhere but it was clean enough and didn't smell bad. About what you'd expect for the price.

Don’t do it!!!
I was looking for a place for my son and I to rest as we were trying to figure things out, the place had roaches and the sheets looked like they are yellow tinted sheets there was a throw on the bed that wasn’t even clean. By the time I settled in the office had already closed.

It was a non-smoking room and it smell like cigars were being made there. The room was nice but the odor of cigarettes was all over the apartment and the couch did have stains, as the bathroom and the bed was visible as well.

Very dirty
