「The rooms were upstairs from a skeavy pub. The pub was situated directly on a busy road. The room was hot and stuffy (no fan provided) so the window had to stay open. The traffic seemed to be roaring through my room. I had to beg for help carrying my bags up the stairs. English breakfast was offered but only with fried eggs (I can't digest fried food.). Coffee (no tea) was offered. I can't drink coffee. One of the worst places I stayed in the UK (& not cheap.)」

「I booked a room with seaview with the hope I can enjoy seaview in my hotel room. But then the room was facing other buildings. After some effort, I realised there was two inches seaview at the corner of the window. You need to make an effort in order to notice it! I think this is cheating. It’s a joke. 」

「Location is great. 10 min walk to train. Says AC but it was still very hot and couldn't adjust the temp lower. Window sealed shut. Got wheelchair accessibke room not sure why. Staff at hotel not the best either. Would not go back.」

「Fantastic quirky boutique hotel! We had a great stay in the Salon Rouge room for our 25th anniversary. The room was huge with amazing views and being able to have breakfast in bed was a real treat. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and the bar is a great space. Fantastic decor throughout too!」
