“We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay.”

“Cute little shepherds hut, very thoughtfully laid out so I had plenty of facilities, plus room under the bed to store own things so wasn’t tripping over my bags and the dog bed all the time. “Rowan Cottage is a super cute place to stay. It is nestled in the forest which would be a great place to explore if I brought my little ones. (Next time for sure). "Staying at this hotel was like a roller coaster of service, and I just wanted to get away. Breakfast: We were asked to pay an extra £18 per person, and we were told we could cancel it, but they forced it on us. Cleaning: The "wet" towels were placed on the bed, but how do I use them? Biscuits were only replenished on the last day. The cleaning standards varied from day to day, suggesting a problem with "standardized procedures" and "staff training." They even unplugged our chargers and threw them on the floor without permission. The lunch server said there were no sundaes, but the dinner server said they were available "all day.""
