“Unfortunately the air conditioning didn’t work in our room, so we were moved to another room. That one has an ant infestation. The next room we were given smelled like smokers. The only room left was clean but the a/c didn’t not blow cold air at all. Could not sleep because of temperature. Staff at desk was trying to be helpful.”

“Good accommodation for trnasit, however the breackfest booked separately was awful. I do not recommend the breakfest here.”

“Tutto ok”

“The La Monastica resort was a wonderful place with a staff who were exceptionally welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The location and grounds were beautiful with some modern influences in decor but really maintaining the overall old world charm and aesthetic of the monastery. We really enjoyed time in the bar playing cards and drinking some great cocktails.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel San Marco. Pietro was kind and knowledgeable and the staff at breakfast were also extremely nice and fast to respond. Breakfasts were fine and the room was very comfortable. The bar came in handy as well. Here are the only negatives: no facial tissues (not a huge deal but it was just a bit strange. So here's the only REAL problem: the cleaning staff were EXTREMELY loud starting at 8 AM in the hallway outside our room. Loud talking, laughing, banging stuff,……

“The staff were friendly, the room was clean, the pool was limited but decent and the breakfast was good.”

“Loved the beautiful room and the attentive staff, the location is close to the Monticontini Centrale train and the town center . Did not use the pool but the area looked wonderful . FYI they charge a small fee to use pool towels . Breakfast was good , large selection of hot and cold foods.”

“We loved everything about this hotel. Convenient parking, friendly and helpful staff, great buffet breakfast and was in a great location. We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re back in Lucca.”
