  • Set within the Lake District National Park, this first-floor apartment is well-placed in the lovely town of Ambleside to enjoy both stunning scenery and attractions.. 9 steps to entrance.

    All on the First Floor:

    Living room: 40" Smart TV, DVD Player, CD Player, Electric Fire

    Kitchen/dining room: Electric Oven, Gas Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher

    Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed

    Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. No children.. The perfect retreat for that perfect stay, Little Nook is big in comfort and beautiful in design. The carpeted staircase with contemporary glass balustrade takes you up into this elegant first-floor apartment, which can also be accessed via its own separate entrance. Relax on the comfy corner sofa in the living room after a busy day exploring, and be inspired by the guide books provided to go on and discover more. The kitchen/dining room provides everything that you would need to prepare a wonderful meal should you choose to stay in, although you are spoilt for choice with the number of different restaurants and cafés right on your doorstep. After a good night’s rest in the kingsize bed and a refreshing shower, you will be ready to start a whole new day.

    Little Nook is situated just a short level walk away from the popular tourist town of Ambleside’s amenities, including an abundance of shops, cafés and restaurants. Well-served by public transport, it is the ideal place to park up and explore the surrounding area stress-free. There are plenty of places to visit right on your doorstep such as the National Trust’s famous 17th-century Bridge House. It is just a short walk to Stock Ghyll Force from the centre of town, or head further afield to discover the beautiful Grasmere village, once home to William Wordsworth. Why not catch one of the Windermere Lake Cruises from the nearby Waterhead Terminal on Ambleside Pier, and enjoy a relaxing trip whilst taking in stunning views of the scenery surrounding Lake Windermere? The area provides excellent opportunities for activities such as walking and climbing – don’t forget your camera! Shop and restaurant ¼ mile, pub 350 yards.

Great central location for exploring The Lakes. Able to leave the car at home and get places on foot. Shops etc easy to hand. Most things you need in the kitchen. Outside space a little closer to the road than expected. Overall a great spot to stay in the Lake District. Many thanks

The apartment was a comfortable place to stay for a week. A compact place but just right for one or two people. It was great to have a dedicated parking space and be within easy walking distance of all the amenities of central Ambleside. The owners obviously care a lot about the property and have gone to significant lengths to make it welcoming and cosy.

Apsolutely lovely well equipped flat. Spotlessly clean, nice size and close to amenities. If I wanted to be really picky nicer quality bedding would have been good. Sheet, duvet cover and pillowcases were of a low quality and very creased. However this is me searching for faults. We would return.

Loved this cosy apartment for two. Great location right in the middle of Ambleside. So easy to explore the wider area. Made use of the kitchen which had everything we needed. Parking space in front of the property just off the main road. Modern decor which felt like a home from home.

Stayed here from 1st June to 8th June 2019. Excellent accommodation. The only thing I would say is that the towel rail heating in the 'loo' should be kept on all the time to dry the towel after a shower. All other radiators turned off.
