"We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It was very clean and updated with a fantastic view. The pictures are accurate and likely don’t do it justice. There are a cluster of three cabins at the top of the mountain but I felt there was plenty of privacy. We saw a bald eagle on our last evening, which felt like a nice end to our stay. We drove about 55 minutes to hike Charlie’s bunion from Newfound Gap. We rode the Smoky Mountain Railroad in an open air car. We visited the Oconaluftee visitor center and walked the short trail and saw a group of elk drinking nearby from the river.We definitely book another stay in the future. "
