Spring Break Getaway

Great location, very comfortable property! We loved the 2 covered porch areas at the front and back of the unit. We had a little trouble with the AC but the owner was very responsive. We would certainly rent this unit again!

Great family spring break stay

We weren’t sure what to expect as it was a last minute booking for our family and we knew the condo was above a store, but we were so pleasantly surprised! The place was immaculately clean with enough starter toiletries for our stay. The shop downstairs was cute (we painted sand dollars there) and we never felt lacking in privacy. It was great to have our own pool and to be in the heart of things on AMI. Fabulous wide beach was a short 2 blocks away. We would stay here again!

Absolutely perfect stay!

Location and home was just perfect! We just love every moment! Beautiful and will be coming back! We did have issues with the air conditioner as it wasn't working especially the last two days and called the main number and they had someone out very fast. They were unable to test the situation right then so it was a bit hot our last two nights but otherwise it is the perfect stay.

This home was absolutely perfect! Short walk to the beach and you have everything on the main strip! The cute shop downstairs was fantastic and the owners were extremely friendly. I would stay here again!

Great trip to Anna Maria Island

We were happy with the place . Well stocked with dishes. In fact maybe to many dishes. We made most breakfasts & lunches at the condo & there wasn’t a place to put our supplies except on the counter. It was very clean except agree the master bathroom needs new grout or a a good scrubbing of the grout. Happy there were 2 decks. The one in front was very noisy between traffic & the coffee shop next door’s ac unit. The back one was nice & quiet. At first disappointed the pool area didn’t get much sun but turned out it was nice not to be in the sun 24/7! Liked being close to a great Mexican & pizza restaurant & fabulous donut shop. Best beach of the island was a short walk which was great. Might be helpful if your employees toured the places. We were instructed about an alarm system which didn’t exist. Access to the pool was controlled by a latch on a gate. We weren’t sure if there was a washer/ dryer & the agent had no idea either. Thankfully it does have both. All in all it was great & would book again as long as I am physically able to do the stairs since located above a store. Lots of steps but great exercise!

Good location to the beach

The actual house was just as described and very comfortable. Had everything you needed for a good family beach vacation. We understood from the description that there was a store on the bottom floor and were prepared for that. However, we were unprepared for the speakers that are installed in the ceiling of the store, that project upwards and literally blast music (Christmas in our case) into the house. We checked it out and the music is way louder in the house than in the store. Napping during store hours was impossible. We did ask that it be turned down and were told "no." It is too bad that the store owners are unwilling to accommodate because the house is lovely.

Wonderful

We had a spectacular vacation, we had a lot of fun and it is quite close to the beach. The only bad thing is that there is only one parking lot but there are nearby parking lots where you can park if you have another car. One of the best experiences we had!

Hidden gem in a great location

Great place to stay! Residential over retail, on Pine Ave! Two adults and four teenagers had more than enough space and extremely comfortable. New owners are updating nicely. Kitchen has everything. Plenty of towels and linens, including beach towels. Lots of outdoor space with front balcony, rear deck, and pool area below. 5 minute walk to beach, 10 minute walk to pier. Overwhelmingly positive place to stay. Only complaints we had were occasionally hearing music from business downstairs, and only twice did someone park in the designated space for the rental. We'll be back!

Overall good, but could use some helpful improvements

We were pleasantly surprised that the photos were very accurate. The space is nice, open, and almost all clean. There was some mildew in the shower and on the shower curtain. Our big issue was that the air conditioning could not be adjusted and someone had to come out the next day. It was fixed, but we spent one sweaty night and had to open the windows which led to unwanted mosquitos. Our other suggestion would be to add screens to the windows (usually standard in Florida) to help with the bugs. We loved the location. It was also great to be able to use the beach chairs, umbrellas (of which there were more than expected) and cart. The shop downstairs was accommodating and allowed us to use parking spaces at night. This would have been helpful to know beforehand as it was tricky to figure out where additional cars could go legally. We liked the place a lot and just want everyone's stay there to be perfect!

Our getaway from the freezing north

This lovely place was just what we needed to get away from the sub freezing temperatures of February in Minnesota. So although we had a few overcast "chilly" days- they seemed wonderful to us. This home was clean and roomy. The beds were comfortable, there was enough hot water for baths and showers. There were plenty of towels, dishes, pots and pans. We were close enough to walk to the beach and many restaurants and stores, plus we were right on the free trolley route. Our only request would have been to include a couple extra blankets- like to lounge on the couch or out on the decks with. There were no condiments included (not even salt or pepper in the kitchen) and there was no way to wash anything you used- a small little bottle of dish soap would have been nice to not have to go buy after you realized you couldn't clean anything. That being said, we had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to come back again.

Waded thru water. Pool dirty whole week.

Music in store below all day. No sound proofing/thin floor and walls. Entrance surrounded by trash cans and 8” water to wade/carry luggage through.. and that was after light rain. irrigation pipes exposed. Erosion problem. Other unit of building properly graded. No recognition of problem fr mgmt. then the tropical storm one day made even worse.

Great location!

I want to give this property a PROPER review! The previous reviews made me hesitate on renting this but I am so glad we proceeded. We LOVED the location of this cottage. Having been to AMI before I knew being close to Pine would be ideal for my teenagers and pre-teens to give them freedom to come and go. We loved sitting on the deck out front and taking in all the activity. It's a very short walk to the beach- 5 min at best. We used the wagon to cart chairs, cooler and umbrella. At times we left the chairs and came back home for lunch, etc. The cottage is clean, decorated nicely and cozy. The layout was great for our family of 5 with 2 very nice size bathrooms. Our 12 year old enjoyed the pool. These pictures do not do it justice- it's much nicer than it shows. All in all, we LOVED our stay here! It was great to walk everywhere: ice cream, the pier, Harry's, back to the beach for nightly sunsets and of course shopping. We still rented bikes for our teens who visited friends further south on the island. But all their friends wanted to come our way since we were on Pine Street. Again, the location made this stay perfect! I also want to mention the AMI accommodations are wonderful to work with! So welcoming and assisted us with any questions we had. We had a great week on AMI and can't wait to come back here!

It was very clean. We were very unhappy about the parking. Even though there is a parking space marked it is very small. we have a large SUV and people constantly park in the spot despite it being marked. Mattresses could be upgraded, master was very uncomfortable. Pool area could use an update. We loved both the decks and the spacious master bathroom. It is decorated beautifully. We had an issue with a drain and it was promptly address which we really appreciated. Pine is our favorite street so we loved being close to the beach and all the shops!

January Get Away

The apartment was very tastefully furnished. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. All beach amenities were available, including a pull cart housing chairs, mats, floats, etc. Anna Maria Accommodations were terrific to work with. We had a couple of minor snags and they took care of everything within an hour. Would request again.

Very nice but it has potential to be better

Property conditions are fair. Good floor plan, nicely decorated and clean. Kids enjoyed having a TV on every room (don't get that at home).Towels and linens are in their last days. Broken microwave handle, broken lamps, patio furniture must go ASAP. Pool area needs to be upgraded. Property location is fair. Very accessible to beach and local shops. Next to a Day Care with kids screaming most of the day. WiFi sucks. Management Staff - Great experience. Friendly, available and quick to react to our needs.
