"I loved the room, the breakfast, the pool, the grounds (there were wonderful paths leading to nearby goats that you could see on a neighboring property). There was a sauna and a hot tub but neither was on. There was a sign for yoga but I didn't see any yoga session."

We stayed in the family villa for 2 nights and found it to be spacious with beautifully landscaped grounds. The local waterfalls were easily accessible and we could walk to local restaurants. "We booked our stay at Hotel Monte Real last minute when in La Fortuna. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Our room was spotless, and the restaurant food and service was unbelievable! Everything was made to order and it was delicious. In the morning we had a clear view of Arenal from our room and other spots on the property. Check in and check out were easy and the front desk staff were outstanding. I highly recommend staying here when travelling to La Fortuna! "

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay in a bungalow at Hotel Tangara Arenal. The bungalow was beautifully furnished with everything we needed and the lush tropical trees surrounding it gave us privacy. We felt like we were on our own private retreat.
For our free breakfast, the Tangara offered a breakfast menu with several great choices. We were really impressed with that!
We also ate at the restaurant the first night and the seafood pasta was excellent.
We had a great experience at the Hotel Tangara Arenal and would definitely stay here again. "
